Luka had 40 but it didn't feel impactful. He was chucking, didn't play defense well, and only got going in the final 2-3 minutes.

Bullock was trash to be fair.

Overall, I ain't shytting on Luka much but I wasn't really impressed.

I don't get the heavy emphasis on the 3 ball for Dallas. I get it that's how we got here and all this crap. But you gotta realize that a shot that's good for Steph Curry and Klay is bad for Dallas. I wish Phoenix hadn't choked. It would have been more competitive because of the mid range and they could feed Ayton.

Was wondering all game how tf did the Mavs make it to the conference final. They’re clearly just not at that caliber. They made it there before they were actually ready to. Just goes to show u how bad the Suns shyt the bed….they would have matchup 10 times better against GS but the bytched out in epic fashion and left us with this non inspiring trash.

Nah a Celtics matchup would be a battle. Celtics ability to switch everything and having both Jaylen and Tatum able to go off would be huge.

Yep and thats why I got the Celtics. You can just see that this is the usual Celtics championship team. A couple of stars and a bunch of clutch role players, high IQ two way players and bench mob that gets shyt done. Its the typical Celtics championship team. Plus they don't have a great Lakers team waiting for them on the other side like they had in the 80s and late 2000s.

Its just this time they finally have youth in their favor after the horrible late 80s and 90s losing potential stars to death and the late 2000s team in which age and Garnett knee cost them another ring outside of the 1 they won.

Looks like this team has a chance to finally exorcise the demons from the deaths of Len Bias and Reggie Lewis.

Also historically no one has beaten the Celtics in the finals, but the lakers and 1958 St. Louis Hawks.....

So they pretty much automatic when they get there.

Outside of the Lakers and Celtics no teams in the NBA have more than 6 championships. Right now the Bulls and Warriors are tied with 6. So lets see what happens...and whats more likely. The Celtics pass the Lakers with 18 championships or the Warriors being the first team outside of the Lakers and Celtics to win more than 6 rings.

Ehh, then historical stats are nice for the record books but not top 10 bill russell (all respect due, but he’s not the most skilled to have so many rings) got them 11 of those is the zero competition days of the NBA.

That said, this team can definitely take it, but it has nothing to do with the phony storied Celtics. Lakers earned those banners across multiple eras
