I still think the Lakers can win. Especially with CP3 probably regressing in game 6. They better wake up though.

If Lebron still had it this year, then we would have seen those super sayian heroics in action tonight.

It’s laughable that people think that he would punt out and be cool with losing a game to take a gamble that AD will play and that they will win game 6 and eventually the series.

Exactly. They think this team is something it’s not. This is not a team that can turn it on or off. They can’t overcome injuries. And they ran out of time to get things right. These dudes out here like lazy high school seniors cramming for tests at the last minute.
Bron is still pretty good but I think what we are seeing is all he has being 36. The rest of the team has to step up

Best case:
Whatever Bron's got left he gives it to you in game 6.
(would be kinda crazy to see LeBron lose in 6 in th 1st round)

Hopefully, AD is healthy game 7 and dominates.

Otherwise its Gone Fishin :manny:

Especially with the type of injury that AD has

Clearly, the Lakers aren't a good team and when AD isn't playing they are even worse. LeBron isn't interested in carrying this team as he did for the Cavs back in 2018 which you can make the argument (despite getting swept by GSW) that was by far a better team than this current Laker roster.

Obviously, injuries have decimated the Lakers this year but still, this team isn't good enough to win if AD and Bron aren't 100% and I had that feeling this whole season that LA wasn't good enough compared to last season. Management messed up by not trying to resign the championship roster and bring at least one or two new pieces into the mix.

With Bron getting older and AD constantly getting hurt the Laker's championship window may have ended already. I don't think the Lakers can win two straight even if AD comes back he won't be 100 percent and you can tell LeBron whether to his ability or not, can't lead these guys especially at his age and health being a major question mark for the first time in his career.

Maybe father time has finally caught on.

Yet you still had a lot of people thinking that the Lakers were going to beat them em route to winning the championship.

So why were the Lakers the favorites? :russell:
Seeding didn’t matter when y’all were expecting a win and gentlemen’s sweep. Now all the sudden it’s “bu-bu they a 2 seed…”

Suns were the heavy underdog going into this series.
:unimpressed:
The Lakers got momentum because CP3 got hurt in the 2nd game. Now with AD hurt, it's really not even close.
