Because we were not a part of it, we have a more objective perspective...

Nostalgia makes a lot of things sound better than what they really were...It's like a dude being in love with a 97 Dodge Neon because he got his first taste of vagina in one...But the rest of us know a Dodge Neon is CRAPPY car...
Furthermore, let me clarify some Hip Hop errors in logic...
(1) Being a pioneer is NOT mutually inclusive with being great...

(2) Being a classic is NOT mutually inclusive with being great...

it would have waned all together if not for the bombsquad/chuck d.
to give cube a more respectable cultural standing and focus draw wise.
to counteract the lack of culture that nwa portrayed as a business/draw.

so, you are out of order.
on more than one issue as far as rap is concerned.
especially, when chuck d is concerned.

There are a lot of oldheads that dissed Chuck D back in the day cause they were too addicted to gangsta rap. Not surprising for the young dudes to feel the same way. Hip Hop doesn't acknowledge their legends unless they have over $100 million, which is why CACs are gonna rap this artform like they did to Rock, and this time, nikkas allowed them to do it.

WHO EVER DISSED CHUCK D???? And how your reasoning is based on gangsta rap when he was extremely instrumental in producing Cube's AMERIKKKA'S MOST WANTED???
