Chuck D is a legend DESPITE his below average rhyme technique. And frankly that should tell you more about just how potent his actual words were. You had no choice but to LISTEN because that nikka demanded your attention and he damn well got it.

gangsta rap would have never recovered to be the pop gateway draw for rap that introduced you to rap.
