I went to back to africa recently and over there we now have bloomberg africa and cnbc africa, I was like WOW and people here are still blaming CACS for everything.

At least education and having common sense is heavily promoted in the motherland.

I have been thinking about this a lot lately and it will definitely take a very long time for us to see a show made by blacks talking about our issues in the complex manner of a well written book or documentary style without no c00nery or buffonery.

We got a long way to go but I believe it could be done but may not happen in my lifetime.

I really want to see us advance from this simplified nature of over exaggerated soap opera dramas like Tyler Perry plays being posed as so called "movies".

I mean we have the cinematography part on point with veteran pro Ernest dikkerson and also Spike Lee is out there. We definitely need a lot of top notch writers to do this.

It make me very SAD when people like Mona Scott Young, Shonda Rhimes and Madea, are being touted as the best the black community has to offer in these modern times with all their basic generic subpar stuff.

I totally agree. Which is why I say everything has to be done in a complex manner not simple like we have always done.

It has to be strategic. I know cacs have an agenda in africa but at least our people are putting in that work on the knowledge game so it's a win win situation.

there is huge disconnect between some black africans and black america...the sad things is...some black americans if not most are blacks from africa, fending for
themselves in America. Not matter how mixed, or how they try to seperate themselves thats their history, and that disconnect, has made them want to adjust into america.
And that adjusting has brought difficulty. Thats why jim crow was implement, you black african americans do for self, seperate but equal...but after bias, discrimination, slavery...
what monies to build own projects...blacks africans had to fit in and deal with american white (and act like thats all they know). Both blacks africans and black americans need to work together and stop the finger pointing.
