breh -are u sure u got the point... cause u keep bringing up matt kemp -which dosnt support the OP comment

best analogy is rih rih & iggy -both chicks dating ballers

rih rih was fukkkng with kemp when he was an allstar, 30 30, MVP runner up, face of the dodgers franchise etc. etc.
iggy fukking swaggy p who is a career back up

PS
rih was even fukking jr smith at once
kim k was fukking with kris hump

-point is... females deem basketball & football players as the highest trophies in all
your reading comprehension needs work breh :dwillhuh:
i already get what youre saying

Equipment
A safe clean place to play
And some adults to encourage it

That would get baseball headed back to the levels of interest that existed in the 80's & 90's.

Speeding the game up would help too. We don't watch baseball the same way as football and basketball because the game is soooo slow. It's in the same tier as golf as far as drawing kids to watch.

a lot of people find baseball boring..... Take football for example, a lot of people will say oh football is much more exciting and action packed then baseball. In reality studies have shown that there's really only 11 minutes of action in an entire 3 1/2 hours of football.....

bring hearing bout this so-called article / study on football on here for minute
YET, no one has posted the link -and im not calling ducktales on it ,just believe this had to be taking outta content

just because the ball isnt in play dosnt necessarily mean the game dosnt have action or excitement in it

watching the QB break the huddle approaching the line of scrimmage reading the defense calling an audible instructing his line men where to block his receivers/backs where to line up & what route to run --- then watch the defense react to all the shyt going on is very exciting

rather then a batter -adjusting his privates, spitting into his gloves, stomping on the dirt for grip, taking 6 half swings before a pitch is thrown

:snoop:

I was watching the HS All American game on the MLB Network last weekend and noticed a concerted effort to make the game more "hip and urban"

A lot of the Nike gear the players were wearing had the flashy designs and neon colorways that are popular in the youth hoops circuit..The announcers kept using words like "swag" and other pseudo hip hop terms to describe the players and most of the players had artists like Drake, J Cole and Kendrick listed as their favorite entertainers..The two top players were Blacks kids that were sons of former MLB players (forget who) and they really went out of their way to spotlight them..

The whole production came off as "Hey yall we're cool, we're not lame like the Bob Costas crowd anymore!!"

I had to admire their pandering efforts...

This isn't an attempt to make the game more hip and urban breh.... they've been doing this, for the last decade now.....when was the last time you watched the LLWS?

They got all that flashy shyt that would attract "hip and urban" demographic the fukk out of the LLWS....cause the demographic that tunes in, doesn't like that shyt at all.

Those loud colorways got pushed to all sports, not just youth hoops and football... they're in soccer, baseball, track, cycling, lacrosse, even shyt like boxing...simply put, athletes like shyt that makes them stand out, they always have.

.... and sons of former MLB players always get more attention.

Why pander to an audience they don't need? :heh:

shyt even in gym class playing baseball all nikkas wanted to do was hit. sitting in the lineup just waiting and waiting hoping that the dude before you gets a hit so you can get one in before class ends because its only like 10 mins left.

the sport is just type boring.

They just want to hit, because that's what impresses bytches....not gunning nikkas out from deep center, not turning a 6-4-3, none of that.

just like when you're running a game of basketball, all nikkas want to do is dunk, jack up 3's, cross nikkas and chase down blocks.....cause that's what impresses bytches.

baseball pays more and has more guaranteed income and your career lasts longer due to less strenuous activity

if I had a skillset that allowed me to play pro sports and I had a choice between football and baseball...baseball is the choice as far as money and career longevity...unless I was so much better at playing football I would choose baseball

St Louis Rams!!!!!
Tbh baseball would be relatively easier to make it big league wise, Would take more training and more money for camps and shyt but it would pay off in the end.

To an extent i am, the hoes who've decided that basketball and football players are higher up the ladder than baseball players... the majority of hoes.

You can be a Shannon Brown,Orlando Scandrick,JR Smith,Nick Young,Dezmon Briscoe,Boobie Gibson and still pull top tier bytches off the strength that you play in the NBA/NFL.
