For sure they do, but those dudes have that star power. They would probably be famous for something even if they weren't baseball players.

I also don't know if it's a black or white thing, Mike Trout is the best player in the game and he's a jacked 22 year old millionaire, but he couldn't walk into any bar in America and grab 5 girls.
How do you think the shyt works? That's how it is ANYWHERE with everybody in sports except the nikkas on commercials and wheaties boxes constantly.

I've been around collegiate and professional sports my whole life. A LOT of athletes can enter a place and be treated normally until someone points out who they are and then EVERYBODY starts feeling the thirst. I was in a situation like that earlier this yr with an athlete in a restaurant. Some sports fans would know who the person was. But not all. And probably not the casual viewer. Until a couple people noticed. Then all of a sudden everybody knew.

But hardly any random athlete is gonna be able to just pull hoes like that without droppin a name for them to Wikipedia or so they can check they latest contract details

There's already enough blacks playing. Idk why nikkas act like being Dominican or Rican is a race

The article is about blacks from the US, not ones from the carribean and Latin America......and there is a noticeable decline since the 70's in American blacks from MLB rosters.

It goes hand in hand with the rise in blacks in the NBA and NFL....whites are at their lowest numbers in the NBA, while blacks are at their lowest in the MLB

I feel like the girls MLB players be around are classier than other sports

I know in Canada, the puck rats go crazy for hockey players who even have a remote chance of sniffing the show.

NBA/NFL groupies seem trashy though

The I in Team
in short, no.

the path to success is too distant, majority of blacks are misinformed about how inexpesive the sport is to play vs. basketball and football, there isn't much of an older generation to funnel them into baseball at a young age.

and most importantly......hoes don't care about a 5 tool player who can hit .300 + in his sleep like they do a 6'7" backup SG or a 230 lb block of muscle.

It's not the same when it comes to baseball, as it is for football and basketball.... being physically remarkable/outstanding matters to these hoes.

The Brandon Jennings/Nick Young's/JR Smith's of the basketball world are infinitely higher on the radar to these hoes than a Andrew McCutchen.
That's because Basketball as a whole is way more popular than Baseball among black people :francis:

If you think Derek Jeter, McCutchenor Yasiel Puig arent higher on the radar than JR Smith than I dont know what to tell you :yeshrug:

My point is that the the average NBA/NFL player is more physically remarkable than your average MLB player...if you were in the club, you'd notice a NBA player or NFL player long before you noticed a MLB player.... just off the fact they're that much taller/larger/muscular than your average human being.

If you took away JR Smith's ability to play basketball... he's still 6'6" 225 lb.... he's getting noticed every fukking where....

But it's better to be Carl Crawford or Juan Uribe than Harden. I rather have money and be a unknown to the average person, than be mobbed every time I walk the streets. At the end of the day, baseball players can still get Instagram thots, just by posting pics of then playing or stunting.
