Cam a known liar.

But if you broke after multiple successful albums what kinda deals you signed nikka? :gucci:
I remember during his IG live when he was talking about Jim Jones he said a chick that worked for Sony at the time showed him where all his money was going and they fukked him over completely

Say what you want about the music but money is so much better now for artists

An artist like Cam two albums in, with multiple hit records, would be making a a shyt load of money doing shows now.

There's so many stories of artists in the 80s and 90s with hit records and platinum albums still living with their parents. Now artists have regional hits and make 20K a month doing shows alone.

I strongly feel like this is why the older artists dislike these new ones.

Sitting back looking at Meek Mill or even Tee Grizzley drop a Bentley Truck paid in full from show money and merchandise crushes their souls.

Lil Yachty set for life, Lil Uzi bringing in M's from show money when he hasn't even dropped an Official Album.

Anybody denying that these Young Niggs are eating more than artists back in the day are in denial.

Facts. Like if these artists came out in the 90s, they'd be like these forgotten nikkas that sold 100K albums and just disappeared off the face of the Earth. Now they're millionaires without a single song in rotation at the radio. I remember Schoolboy Q said he was getting 15 K a show before his album dropped. Big Daddy Kane was getting 17 K a show at his peak.

The 215
Tribe made around 30k each off that album. If you know the cost of living in NY then you know 30k isn't shyt.

Cam was broke before the Roc deal because Untertainment folded and he got absorbed into a machine that didn't give a fukk about him until Dame ran up in the Sony building barking on people for him. I think that's when Cam realized that he had to diversify his business.

How did I know lol....they gave them nikkas like $100,000 total...split three ways that's $30,000 then you pay taxes on it and you could've made more driving the NYC subway :sadcam:

Cacs out here building generational wealth off these black men buying houses out in Nantucket and the Hamptons while giving the creative force behind these hits less money than a public school janitor.

Then why did he go @ Jay after he said he made Cam a millionaire? Makes Cam look like a lame.

Probably because in his eyes Dame pulled the strings for him and opened doors for him, not Jay.

From everyone's commentary back then, Jay didn't come to office whatsoever. He was boss of Rocafella only in name as Dame did everything and Jay focused on Jay's career only. Jay got involved with the business side later. So Cam was probably like nikka you did nothing for me :childplease: Jay wouldn't even appear in Cam's video when all of New York City was begging for it.

Could've? shyt MTA Conductors make 70-100K yearly with benefits. LOL. They would've been waaaay better off back then. Obviously it worked out, especially for Tip, who got rich off music but it took a long time.
