This is an incredibly lazy take from Cam and some of it is salt because he did not work on his fundamentals as a QB. Once his athleticism left him he couldn't hack it.

Cam had his flaws but the reason he's out of the league is him arm is completely shot from multiple injuries. If his shoulder didn't get fukked up, he would probably still be the starter for the Panthers

My general view is that "sports media" is full of people saying dumb shyt all day every day for #content, so the overreaction to Cam saying dumb shyt feels like it's about more than just that. If he said this on ESPN as a paid commentator the reactions would be different and it likely wouldn't have gone viral, because paid ESPN commentators say idiotic shyt like this every day of the week without going viral. They literally trot former players out to shyt on current players, it's a programming aim/design for networks. Cam doing this outside of that bloated structure is part of the reason for the furor. Let's be real.
In terms of the QBs...Goff is my QB and he's struggling right now. But for much of this year he has played really well. Purdy has played really well for most of the year. Dak has played really well for most of the year. The "game manager" thing always struct me as a lazy idea that non-athletes cling to, which makes Cam saying it kind of surprising. A more football literate question would be "does this QB make plays outside of structure." I hate Dallas but will readily admit that when a play breaks down, Dak can make a play. Same with Purdy. Same with Tua. Goff is the worst at that, out of the others, but even he can do it and has in the last few weeks.

Actually if you wanna know when the offense really fully collapsed when our center who’s basically been the best in the nfl went down. Reek hurt bad but that.. that injury crippled the offense fully
