You gotta do cardio, it's more important than weight lifting. I been doing 2 days a week, 45 minutes, burn something like 500 calories. I'm Flabby so it ain't easy:flabbynsick: thinking about adding another day, but I dread going to the gym 6 days a week:ld:

This is false.
People have been clinging to the cardio myth since what? the 70's?
Cardio is about cardiovascular health and endurance not weight loss
1 pound = 3500 calories
You're not gonna burn anywhere close to that doing cardio for an hour.
Doing cardio for more than 20-30 mins max is just spinning your wheels.
People get cardio happy because when they first start doing it, they see results
So they automatically think "well, I need to do more of this!"
The body catches wind of this and adapts to the activity
Thus, the plateau and doing hella cardio for little benefit.

You don't have to do any cardio if you weight lift. If you're flabby get your diet in check. In less then 3 minutes you can consume enough calories to negate that 45 minutes of working out in the gym.

Perfect time to start counting calories since you can't hit the gym. Still can be good for the summer if the diet is right.

Jeff has helped me a lot in the fitness game but how the fukk does he eat 300-500 grams of carbs a day and keep that physique :mjtf:

The more muscle and lower body fat you have the more likely you are you process carbs easier and of course it’s fuel.

Carbs are demonized but if you structure them right they are a true gift.

I hear you if we talking about the 200 calorie range but 3 to 500 without a major cardio cycle? Breh must got great metabolism...I'm jealous I gotta stay under 190 grams a day and I'm constantly lifting and doing cardio :martin:

I disagree because I’ve done it real world to some degree. Which granted it’s anecdotal but I can easily see where with his BF% and regime 300-500 really isn’t that big of a deal.

The metabolism thing is misdirected thinking IMO. If you train intense as fukk, eat the right carbs with low to moderate fat intake it’s there to be done if you have or are working towards really getting the muscle. I’ve seen it with my average ass so for him it’s nothing.
