You gotta do cardio, it's more important than weight lifting. I been doing 2 days a week, 45 minutes, burn something like 500 calories. I'm Flabby so it ain't easy thinking about adding another day, but I dread going to the gym 6 days a week
This is false.
People have been clinging to the cardio myth since what? the 70's?
Cardio is about cardiovascular health and endurance not weight loss
1 pound = 3500 calories
You're not gonna burn anywhere close to that doing cardio for an hour.
Doing cardio for more than 20-30 mins max is just spinning your wheels.
People get cardio happy because when they first start doing it, they see results
So they automatically think "well, I need to do more of this!"
The body catches wind of this and adapts to the activity
Thus, the plateau and doing hella cardio for little benefit.
