You getting 200fps in warzone?? Whats ya specs and settings bruh?? I have a 3080 over here and i still can't get above 110-125. Also playing in 1440p.

Right. Like wtf?? I need answers!
What CPU do you have?

Watch the video I linked a few posts back for the other guy asking the same thing.

I have a 5900x (which is one of the main reasons I'm getting the frames I am with the 3080). My PC is cooled pretty good as well so even with all cores at max clock I'm not going much past 65 degrees at the high end. When I had the 3700 I was being bottlenecked more and getting closer to your frames.

My 3080 is slightly overclocked by a few 100mhz as well.

Another big boost came from overclocked high speed ram (with samsung B dies) and dialing in custom timings in the XMP profile. With infinity fabric on Ryzen CPUs, the ram speed and low latency timings can give you a significant performance boost. The process of getting stable timings and dialing them in the BIOS can be frustrating though. I also have the in game graphics settings fine tuned for framerate, windows itself fine tuned for gaming performance, the nvidia control panel fine tuned for performance, and the config file for the game edited to use the proper amount of cores for my cpu.

Watch the video I linked a few posts back for the other fella, there is a lot of useful information.

This is with nvidia filters still on and instant replay going too, I could get more. The rig is pretty robust. Even if I stream in OBS with w/ a bunch of scenes and graphics and audio plug ins running I'm still getting like 180 on a single PC setup.

There are drops occasionally don't get me wrong it's not like it's locked at 200. But def averages around there.

Thanks brodie. I have never played a COD game..I’m a super noob. The last first person shooter game I played was halo 1 back in 2002. I play only rpgs lol
I'll be honest, it's gonna be rough for a while if it's been that long, especially if you're playing with your friends. The overall skill level in Warzone is nuts right now and WAY higher than the initial release last year. If you play solo, you might get bot lobbies since they use skill based match making.

Must be on low settings because i watched some 3090s with 5950s get 200 fps at 1440p...
Actually you should tell this youtuber how to optimize his cpu to get more out of it

Just peeped I got kicked out coli squad.

Wondered what happened to my happy hour

I noticed I was on a completely different clan now too. I thought someone might have changed the name or something but didn’t find any other coli brehs on there. I play the game several times a week. Just noticed today I was in a different clan I never even heard of.

It's not as simple as every setting on low, but yea to optimize for framerate most stuff is gonna be turned down or off.

I jumped into Plunder and took a 1 minute clip. 25 seconds in is my settings.

I have the framerate showing in the corner too.

You just proved it's that easy by having everything disabled or on low :mjlol:...

Maybe they changed it.

I had to make my own clan.

Add me if they have space.

I play least once a day.

Low settings

Some of the settings are actually better on enabled like cache spot shadows and cache spot sun, which disabled themselves on a driver update and I didn't catch it til now. I'm not using intel either so that benchmark doesn't mean much to me. The ram timings are much less impactful to performance on intel because no infinity fabric.

I also have anti aliasing on, particle quality on high (which actually seems to run better than low), textures on normal, and anistropic filtering on normal.

Not to mention the custom overclock, the ram timings, the config file edit, the windows performance settings, the nvidia control panel settings.

So no it's not that simple. Cats in here asked how I got those frames. So I am showing my settings and explaining the other things I did to increase performance.

Yes a lot of settings are low or disabled...that's how you optimize for max frames:francis:.

I also have nvidia highlights and filters running which both hurt frames. And the latest windows update fukked up game performance in general, so I need to roll it back. I could get more stable lows that way.

Intel 10900k and AMD 5950X be getting the same fps in damn near every game breh. Don't give me that AMD vs Intel shyt unless you streaming or something.

You just argue to argue huh?

I only mentioned it because the ram timings optimizations are more important to Ryzen systems because of Infinity Fabric (which is AMD specific). Increasing the clock for your RAM and dialing in the latency timings in your Bios to be as low as possible while still remaining stable will impact Ryzen performance much more significantly than it would Intel. (this has nothing to do with which I think is better or more capable)

I am not sure what you are even trying to prove by showing me someone else getting 200fps on low settings as well. Uh yea. So we both use similar settings and get similar results, what's your point? His CPU is overclocked and liquid cooled, and his GPU is overclocked, and I imagine being a guy who does benchmarks on Youtube, his system is probably optimized in a similar way as far as the Nvidia control panel and Windows specific settings. He also is running this on an older (better) Nvidia driver, and an older (better) Windows patch, plus pre the new map (which hurt almost every ones frames) Chances are the same benchmark today would average a little lower, but that's besides the point.

But again I am not sure you're point. He has a PC with similar capabilities, similar settings and optimizations, and *gasps* is getting similar frames. Yes, as he should be.

I mentioned the fps I get and people started asking me how I get those frames (with some insinuation that I shouldn't be able to get those frames). I just explained the steps I took to get where I'm at and it seems to have gotten you aggy. Like you're trying to poke holes in what I'm saying or something. You're essentially saying the same shyt I'm saying but with a tone like you're refuting me, and I don't get it.

Also I do stream for fun on the same PC.

I'm just saying with low settings it's pretty easy to hit those fps.

I'm still using my 3800x lol. But yea i didn't do any tweaking with my 3080. I just popped it in and started playing.

Following the guide you posted im still getting around the same fps i did before. But yea i understand my cpu might be outdated.

You are probably slightly bottle necked.

Do you know how to do an msi afterburner overlay? to show gpu and cpu usage?

I would bet your 3080 is at like 60-70%. What ram do you have? Do you know if you enabled the xmp profile for it?

Your setup is still good though. When I had my 3700 I was getting around 120 too. My gpu was only being pushed to about 60-70 percent because the cpu was bottlenecking it though.

Getting the 5900 was the single biggest change to getting around 200. All those optimization steps are a couple frames here and there, but can add up. Each one is not that significant. However with a bottleneck there's not much you can do to get past that without upgrading.
