I play at 1440. The frames are a little more spastic since the update, but I average around 200 depending the area. Some areas trend a little lower.

The DLSS just has too much blur on distant objects sniping for me. The frames I gain aren't enough to sacrifice the long distance clarity personally. If you're playing at 4k I can see why you might use it.

The DLSS in Cyberpunk and Control I loved.
How the hell u getting 200 frames at 1440p on Warzone?

3080 and a 5900x, fine tuned in game graphics settings, and overclocked ram with fine tuned low timings . I also optimize the nvidia control panel, and edited the config file to use the appropriate number of cores.

The game is poorly optimized so it really depends on the area. If I'm in a field without a lot of assets I can go as high as 240. If I'm in Promenade it might drop to 170 with all the buildings, it really depends. On average though it's around 200. The lowest I will see is in the airplane intro. The lowest it goes running around might be like a 150 microstutter here and there.

Since the last Windows update and the new map it's def averaging a little lower than before. Apparently the latest Windows update has been causing some performance issues for people, I may roll it back just in case.

The biggest thing is prefer maximum performance under power management in nvidia control panel. Otherwise it will downclock itself to save power depending on what you're doing. If you keep it on prefer maximum performance it will always use the highest clock it can. (unless it's throttling cause of temp)

Also in Windows in the search bar go to Power settings, then Additional Power Settings, and make sure you are using the high performance plan for your CPU. (at least with Ryzen)

He explains the config file at around 15 minutes.

Some people force it to launch in DX11 too with a command line in BattleNet and get some frames depending.

@Negro Caesar Also if you use a Ryzen cpu. Getting ram with good silicon (like a samsung b-die) with an XMP profile that can hit high speeds, (say 3600-4200) can make a huge difference in performance. You need to enable the XMP profile in the bios though. There is also something called infinity fabric(specific to ryzen) which generally should be exactly half the rams clock speed that you should set in the bios too.

You can then use a tool called DRAM Calculator and plug in the specs of your ram to get a base line for timings you can configure (also in the bios) Dialing these timings in as low as you can get them while keeping the system stable also makes a huge difference. This stuff can be tricky though so if you're not comfortable fukking with settings that can crash your system I wouldn't mess with the timings.

This can devolve into you messing with voltages which can feel scary. All this little stuff adds up too extra frames though.

If you want to practice and gain weapon xp,, id suggest playing co-op and farm, I sat up for 2 hours and got 1k kills with a rando squad before.

If you want real time practice hit up plunder.

New Method for weapon lvling

Old school method was hop in chopper with trophy system and do supply runs

Use tokens to double xp.

If you need some help in gaining xp during play hit me up dfeezy510 on xbox/activision.

Also ply during happy hour with is 2x xp

Depends on your playing style

I use a bullfrog/Krig 6 combo

These are all new
  • CR-56 AMAX & Fara 83
  • Kar98k & Sykov
  • Krig 6 & LC10
  • Grau & Mac-10 <--------Combo has the biggest meta complaints meaning it can be lethal
  • CW AK47 & Bullfrog
  • RAM & Kar98k
  • LW3 Tundra & FFAR
  • Pelington 706 & Bullfrog
  • AS VAL & FAL
  • Swiss K31 & Diamatti

Best Warzone loadout drop: the top class setups for Season Three

I suggest pick a sub/assault rifle combo and grind it out.

I usually run a ghost/Overkill(2 weapons)/Shrapnel(2 Lethals)

Or all out covert- Cold Blooded/Ghost-Overkill/Tracker

In Shoot the ship I may add a xp perk to my weapon along with Killchain and hardline(knocks off one kill streakpoint..very helpful)

Im just maxin out rando weapons now.

You should practice in Plunder. Go to Storage Town since that's where people drop in Plunder to have shootouts. If you're trash or haven't played much COD in a while, you want ease of use guns to start with. For ARs, I'd suggest M4, Grau and Krig. Easiest SMGs to use are MP5 (Modern Warfare one over the Cold War one), Mac-10, Bullfrog and LC-10. People like using the FARA and Cold War AK-47 as SMGs too as well as the FFAR, though that's been nerfed quite a bit.

Get Overkill first so you have both your main guns right away; get Ghost on the second loadout.

Thanks brodie. I have never played a COD game..I’m a super noob. The last first person shooter game I played was halo 1 back in 2002. I play only rpgs lol
