Essential Calisthenics Thread

the way my calisthenics are set up is deceptively brutal. I only got through 3 rounds of this today:

Neck bridge: 25, knuckle pushups: 25, squats: 25 , inverted row (gymnastics rings): 25...you go from one exercise to the next no break until you cover at least 4 rounds, ideally 8 rounds.

I felt :flabbynsick: but looked in the mirror and the pump had me lookin like an HGH head :whew:

Sounds good:ehh:

That's the whole thing breh,you gain strength/muscle while also getting some cardio/burning fat.:mjcry:

But nikkas just don't wanna listen to me:yeshrug:

When I was in prison the only guys who were super shredded were cats who was doing crazy calisthenic work like this.

Most guys who lift in prison have guts,very very few exceptions

Yeah I think I might be on this cali wave for a month or so. I like how quick it was and you definitely feel the shyt. My core lifts are pretty good where they are so I'm gonna focus on getting shredded. like I don't think theres any reason my 130 lb ass should lift more than a 225 bench 315 squat and 275 dead other bragging rights. I've been looking for something that could get me super cut this might be it. the 30 minute limit is the killer makes you have a great sense of urgency. Might add some time on and add some other shyt in like crunches, burpees :mjcry: , and mountain climbers. My girl already say I have a ill body she bought be like :whoo: soon.

That's the great part about it breh, the shyt is so challenging the 30 minutes flys by,calisthenics is boring, but doing it this way is always going to be a challenge, which is why when my boy in prison showed me it,I fell in love with it,because I got a great workout in,in so little time.

Then my body started transforming and my strength got better and better.

Yea bruh stick with it and keep us posted, watch your strength in the weight room go up something crazy

I was at the state fair a month ago with my girl and marines had a booth to get shyt for doing pullups :takedat: I busted like 25 of them shyts out and aint nothing better than finishing that shyt like a machine and seeing yo squeeze looking at your ass like :lupe:

Aint nobody other than other men gonna be too impressed with shyt like a 315 bench but showing your physical dominance through body weight is universal :ooh: from errone

I cant wait 2 get my body in tha best lookin condition but if i had 2 choose id rather be strong wita avrg body then weak wita cut body.

I feel you. I'm pretty strong already so having been on that side I'd rather be ripped. strength not doing shyt for me since I'm not fighting nikkas or trying to compete. its just ego juice.

Yea this is true as well.

In the real world most grown folks ain't fighting so yea being ripped and lean is a good thing.

That's why I said most cats in prison not lean but they don't care about that,most guys I was locked up with lifted for strength and strength only
