I want yall to think about this for a minute for the past week 3 legit nfl insiders said Ben Johnson to the bears is a legit possibility and the bears are Ben Johnson 1st choice fast forward to today and Adam rank and Adam schefter say either Ben Johnson doesn't want to come here or eberflus is going to be back next season yall really think it's a coincidence that both came out with this information at the same time

I'm sure it bothers Trace more than we think because it sure looks like he's trying to become the Bears management. Apparently, he's pulled similar tactics at LSU in trying to get his clients in at any possible position as some form of vertical control. In that regard, he probably hates that people are coming around to firing Flus yet see the difficulty when Trace is too laced into the management system. Trace himself becomes a problem.
Being honest I think Trace is linked to (namely) the contract of Flus coming to a clearer light. I was positive they actually extended this fool in the passed offseason but it seems he has a stupidly lengthy contract. This is a good leak for the clients, because getting the hiring guy to be a fellow client just means you get it cushy. Look at what Trace Armstrong can get YOU!
And let's be honest. Poles has operated damn near every step to keep his Armstrong brethren. Kept Flus, our worst HC, in the name of continuity. Kept Chris Morgan, knowing the O-Line performance has been in the dirt while getting rid of nearly everyone else on the offensive side. I do not think any positive Johnson news is some 4D chess play from Poles.
I think the positive Johnson news is either his camp or someone bitter on the inside with the FO that ain't Armstrong connected.
