Not at all. This final for just lined up perfectly for casual fans interest
You say this because you aren’t actually a basketball fan. You are an Alabama sports football fan who follows the men’s team when they are title contenders.

Women college players are allowed to be more expressive and creative on the court than the men. The game moves faster and way more open.

Kansas-North Carolina last year had 18.1 million viewers.

Warriors-Celtics Finals averaged 13 million viewers (Game 6 was around 13.9M).

College right now is just bigger. Even without the star players.

March Madness has always been bigger than the NBA playoffs. You can’t compare single elimination sudden death games to best of 7.

There’s a reason why NBA Finals Game 7s always put up monster numbers

I wouldn't say always. The Bulls were putting up some serious numbers, NFL type numbers.

Ok, March Madness has been bigger than the NBA playoffs for the vast majority of its existence :pachaha:

For reference: I just looked it up after my initial post, since 1990 the only years where the NCAA title game didn’t outdraw every single Finals game was the Bulls second 3-peat, 2004, 2010, 2013, 2016 & 2017.

2010, 2013 & 2016 all had G7s.

lol, you beat me to it

Final Four ratings are usually higher than NBA finals. The crazy NBA ratings were mostly in Jordan’s last few years, and really in 1998.
