Nah that is concept model. The production model will have look the same but with production friendly lights, interior,side mirrors etc.

It's not that simple. Perfecting EV tech is a 5-7 year investment and that doesn't include developing the car to put it in. You cant just shxt out a EV in a year if your entire business is based on combustion engine tech.
When Tesla started R&D the infrastructure for EV was practically non existant and there wasn't a proven market (Hybrid, yes, but not EV). By the time Tesla proved the market was there the Big Auto makers were going to be behind by 5+ years by default.
