That isn't the argument though.
The argument is that they are claiming the greek tribe when they are anglo, scandinavian, irish, slavic, tribes that the greeks viewed as barbarians. Cacs make it a point to highlight Egyptians were east african, northeast african, not west. So they can claim everything on their continent but blacks can not?
As for influence, the entire east coast influenced ancient egypt and vice verse, and that is in an area 2-3 times the size of europe.
That's exactly OP's argument, and the point is that most those people you listed don't claim Greece like that. Not Scandinavians (as I wrote in my first post), Slavic I highly doubt (due to Balkan centuries-old conflicts), etc. The real point is that coli brehs for some reason think Europe is some homegeneous continent where are all similar (ironically, the same type of ignorance Europeans have towards Africa) and all claim Greece. That's simply not the case. Like some breh said, European countries are much more likely to claim or brag about THEIR OWN COUNTRY than care about ancient Rome or Greece. Seems like a lot of people keep forgetting this is the continent that created nationalism.
Even here in France, while Ancient Greece is "claimed", it's much less than Ancient Rome for example, what with french being a romance language and current France having been part of the Roman Empire, whose remains can still be seen today here and there (more so in the South of France to my knowledge). No such linguistic or historical link with Greece, for example.
Also, there is a vast misunderstanding about the term "barbarians". It is only centuries AFTER Ancient Greeks used that term that it took the negative sense it has now. Back in ancient Greece, the term "barbarian" was STRICTLY linguistical, as in "those who do not speak our language". THAT'S IT. It did not mean "savages" or whatever negative synonym we would have nowadays. Ancient Greeks had no problem admiring "barbarians" like Egyptians, Persians, etc.
I have absolutely no idea what you mean by the bolded. Egypt is Norh-East African, that's simple geography. Just like Senegal is West Africa.
And again, "cacs" don't even claim everything on their continent, you think people from Denmark care about Portugal?
And you can claim whatever you want, who's stopping you? Look up the works of Cheick Anta Diop
But I have a feeling that brehs in this thread are talking about white americans who don't know shyt either about Europe, nor European history
