LeBron was taking his teams to the Finals, this is no comparison. If Carmelo was as good as ya'll are saying he would have been able to at the very least drag those teams to the playoffs. We're not talking make the Finals, we're talking make the playoffs, in the trash East where 38 win teams make the playoffs.

Outside of maybe 2015 and 2016 his rosters were nowhere trash enough to the point that he couldn't take them to the playoffs.

Melo’s Denver teams were far better than any Lebron’s Cavs teams before he left to Miami, trash east made him look good

The year when he went to the western finals and play Kobe he was pretty good , his defense picked up substantially and he was great offensively.

I'd say he was top 5 that year and then in 2013 on the Knicks ...

Also low key, I felt he should have won rookie of the year , dude had his team in the playoffs in the west while Bron was watching him from home in the east
