Let's not even compare him to Bron. They are two different players. Melo was stuck with George Karl's horrible schemes and hating on black players while Bron had Brown and a top 5 defense. Not even the same.

That's true but CP3 had more impact on his team, Melo played 66 games and Billups was a huge part of the success. Melo in the WCF was not that great outside of G1 against the Lakers.

Every season that Melo was in the west, he only lost in the playoffs to the team that either won the NBA title or won the the west (except for once to the clippers). And never lost to a team that he was supposed to beat in the post season.

We were supposed to beat the jazz the year after the WCF trip. I remember Jerry Sloan got a T for complaining about calls early in that series. Completely shifted the whistle in their favor. And Karl was out so Adrian dantley wasn’t trying to pay a fine on that asst coach salary to even it out.
