Cacs making work miserable unappreciation

I remember working at a call center in HS and getting me fired was this old cac lady sole mission in life. I don't know what the equivalent to butter biscuits is for kiss ass whites but gotdayum, she was trying to earn her stripes by getting me out of there lol.

All of it. When she told me, I just busted out laughing. I felt bad for her but lord. That couldn’t be my life.

every Monday they each have to stand up and say what they did over the weekend

My boss has us do this shyt at my job. The first few months, we(the other 5 people in the dept.) Were cool with it. Then it became monotonous. Every. Single. Mon... its gotten to the point where i just say, i cut grass, cleaned up around the house, and watched some football, nothing much. And this fakkit will make some corny remark like, ahh thats it? Yall need to get a life. In a sort of joking manner. Little does this fakkit know that we talk about him all the time.

The actual meeting part to discuss work related shyt last all of like 10mins. Whereas the other unrelated shyt last an hour on avg. Like nikka its Mon. Morning we got shyt to do, no one gives a fukk about what you did during the weekend.


Then like every month we were supposed to go out together after work to do something, bowling, movie, etc. But he never pressed us on that, ...yet.

How is any of that shyt legal? Once your work schedule is finished you go home. Anything you do outside of that work schedule is outside the scope of your job. Unless they're paying you for overtime you go home. It seems like the boss might be a lonely fakkit with no friends so he has to force his employees to engage in social activities. Pretty fukking pathetic if you ask me.

Word. Unless I’m contracted to do these “extra curricular” activities, you better get the fukk outta my face with that shyt.

We had a company outing about a month ago. It worked out fine because we all had our separate lanes. The lanes occupied were pretty much separate by race, not department.....which was fine by me

I keep myself entertained with cacs. There’s a very thin line when it comes to joking with them and getting personal. You have to find the sweet spot where you’re unbothered and talking shyt to their face with a smile on. The key is to never break character. I love my job and I wasn’t going to let’s some cacs make me quit, so I make it worth my while. Set boundaries let people know when they’re bothering you so they won’t try that shyt again.

What's the solutions to all of our issues though? They micromanage. They annoy. They nag. They ask personal questions. They make us miserable.

Its almost like there's zero you can do to get them to leave you alone. If you're excellent at your job, they test you consistently. If you're terrible at your job, theyre constantly trying to throw you under the bus for brownie points.

If you're not a jester, they're on alert and you're under suspicion. If you are a jester/mammy, you erode your own mental health.
