I always tip properly. Even if you order Togo, tip those people because some of them lose coverage on floor manning those desk.

Are places like Waffle House and etc.... still paying people $3 dollars an hour?

If I go out with people and they don’t tip I simply pick up the tip, and never go out with them to eat again. Pretty embarrassing when that shyt happens too. Muthafukkas really going out to eat and worried about an extra $8 going towards the tip. I’ll never understand how people could get good service and can’t tip at least 10-15%. It’s always the people who haven’t worked in the industry who are the most ignorant towards it, but that goes with most customer service based jobs. Amazing how people don’t agree with the restaurant policies of tipping yet will go out and take full advantage of not tipping because “it isn’t mandatory”.

No fukk that.

There was a time tipping was about appreciating the quality of service. Ignoring the fact every other place in the world doesn't do tipping and I think you should just pay workers a living wage, we've gotten to the point that people expect tips regardless of the quality of the work. Most people do not tip as an appreciation of service but because of an arbitrary social obligation and hope people don't spit in your food if you come again.

So fine, we've already move into retarded terroritory of tipping not even being about service anymore. Now people expect tips for To go orders? Those entitled fakkits can suck my nuts and fukk off with that bullshyt. I tip baristas at most because they are providing me a service besides just handing me my food by making my drink. I tip bellboys and help. But you're not going to get a tip handing me food in a bag over the counter. Your wages aren't my fukking problem .it's your boss's issue.

At some point you have say enough to this shyt and these entitled racist cacs won't make me think anything different.

You do understand that the tip you give a waiter/waitress is divided among the bus boy who cleaned your table, the chef who prepared your food, the dishwasher who cleaned your plates, and the host who sat you, right?

I honestly don't care. Again, tipping INITIALLY was about appreciation of service. You give me good service, I give you a tip. Just because society has move to a system now where it's now an entitlement instead of an appreciation for a job well done, I'm not going to buy into it and agree with it. As I said, I already bitterly off top tip 15% for mediocre service and no tip if the service is really bad.

NOW I need to tip you for to go orders? Nah fukk that. I'm personally putting my foot down on that and I'd recommend others do the same. Service industry workers are becoming obnoxious entitled c*nts. At some point whine at your boss.

It's not even about the fact these people get paid under minimum now. Every place, even those you know pay minimum wage and above have their fukking tip jars at the register trying to get me to tip for a pick up order. I worked retail for 6 years and barely made over minimum wage and dealt with shythead customers and never got a tip. No sympathy.

Eh, I only tip on to go orders when I order within 45 minutes of a place closing. Just for the inconvenience of someone stopping their pre-close cleaning to prepare the order. But outside of that narrow parameter, I don't tip on to go orders.

We all see shyt differently but I’m not about to stiff someone because I think their employer should pay them more. I worked retail too and tbh I’ll never work it again unless it’s commission based. After working in retail I’ll always put my own shyt back after trying it on or refold clothes that I unfolded to look at. Same with working in the restaurant industry. I know how shytty it could be. I appreciated when people were polite to me at a retail store/ restaurant so when I’m the customer I’m as polite as possible :manny: and for the whole to go order situation, someone had make the food, and scrub the dishes necessary to make the food. Everything’s a service and until we start paying wages that can support people with out tipping, ima tip.

Edit: It’s not even about disliking whites. They just are becoming increasingly unstable and for mental health and physical safety, maybe we should avoid them

This is how I feel. I don't want to be this way, but at this point, it's about my personal well being, and what's best for my life.

Used to work in a hotel a few years back. Yea black folks aren’t the best tippers but the worse tippers to me are Jewish.

Matter of fact a Jewish person will give you $1 dollar and he’ll make sure it’s the most wrinkled and torn $1 in his wallet!

White folks overall seem like the best tippers but I wonder if that has anything to do with the fact that there are just more white people than anybody!

It has to do with the fact that tipping is a system invented by whites in order to marginalize blacks (in the 1800's and early 1900's serving was almost exclusively negro labor) after slavery ended so that white restaurant owners didnt have to pay them a fair wage. There's a case to be made that its still that way now, so ofc whites are good tippers they want to protect the broken ass system they created.

This dude deserves to be dragged outside. Internet needs to start tracking down these people in real life from these exposals. A person like this shouldn't feel safe after this being made public

On the topic of tipping itself, if ya'll didn't know these service workers make like 2.83 an hour. Tips are factored into the actual laws that let establishments pay them less than minimum wage.

You might not agree with tipping. I think it's kind've silly too, to be culturally mandatory. But it's there and it's not service workers fault wages are so low. This is literally like the lowest legal wage you can be paid, without tips most waiters would make like 90$ for 40 hours of work :pachaha:.
