Thats a legal cover to keep the FTC off their ass. Most of the time the products are not being sold because they are not products that anyone wants. The "distributors" have to end up buying their own product to move it.

These companies are nothing new but are regurgitations of the original Amway back in the 70's who went through numerous lawsuits and was able to perfect their pyramid scheme by fronting with a "product". All of these companies are just copies of the original Amway. Nothing but a new way to take advantage of the mentally weak and economically disadvantaged.

Breh a cat I knew who was involved in a pyramid scheme used to use that line on me all the time. For what it's worth though he eventually left that shyt behind and started his own legit business and is doing well for himself.

I remember seeing friends hyping up MLM shyt on social media. All I could do was

I met dude and his wife at a hotel restaurant, had drinks and food. This nikka was in Herbalife I never wanted to snuff somebody so bad.

1 because he wasted my time. I was working two jobs too so my time was precious and i was tired AS fukk.

2 because he made me feel like an idiot for coming

3 because he pulled his wife into his nonsense. Too innocent and naive to know her husband was a dumbass and he got them into a pyramid scheme.

I told dude it was a pyramid scheme. If your whole reasoning for existing is to put people in your downline, then its a scam. After I embarrassed him, dude tried to stunt on me because I was working retail at that point on some "good luck with your career then". I hope I see that nikka soon. I wanna ask him how his "business" doing

When I was 18, I got suckered into Vector Marketing/Cutco.

Ad said $16.00 an hour. I was like word

Got there and nikka was talking about "being your own boss...do you wanna run your own office in 3 months ...do you wanna be rich " I knew 5 minutes in it was a crock of shyt. Now I'm older, those dudes were fukkING LOSERS man because some of them were clearly in their 30s and should've known better. I came back the next day though because my mom made me go one more day. And they took us to a conference in Baltimore. FELT LIKE A fukkING CULT. I really wanted to leave, go downtown and catch a greyhound back home. Whole vibe was on some Jim Jones shyt and not the rapper. The moment we got home, I threw them knives in the garbage and blocked their number. You can make alot of money in this world if you learn to successfully prey on people's hopes and desires because that much was evident from that day but, of course, you have to truly be an immoral soulless human being. shyt is sad man.

nikka I was ambushed by my own sister with this pyramid bullshyt. I met her for lunch one day and she had a couple of chicks with her that I assumed were her coworker friends. Right after we ordered the food them moafukkas started in on me and one of those chicks actually had the nerve to ask me for my credit card number so that she could charge me with some kind of monthly fee or some dumb shyt like that. I didn't give that moafukka nothing and I told them that that dumb shyt was a fukking pyramid scheme. Those moafukkas, including my own sister had the nerve to get mad at me and they ended up calling me an "employee"or some dumb shyt like that. Needless to say I own my own business and those nikkas were the ones moonlighting off of their regular jobs with the stupid pyramid scheme. That's right. They all had regular full time jobs, but they were doing that stupid pyramid side hustle shyt and going around talking about how they are not employees; so don't even try to figure that shyt out.

All I could do was to stop myself from reaching across the table to choke out my own sister.

Yup breh. They specifically tell people to target their family members. And if the family member is hostile to the idea, they advise them to cut them out their life. It's a cult basically. I know the religious ones like Primerica are heavy on their "employees" dating each other. So you end up marrying someone who is also in the scheme, in hopes of raking in some wedding gift money or whatever. smh
