Napoleon and many of his ilk continuously smeared Bernie because he has an I next to his name. Meanwhile Joe Manchin has a D next to his name. Democrats have a problem when they have fervent online spokespeople that would vote for Manchin over Bernie if they were heads up in a primary.
Have you provided us with the fervent online spokespeople who claim they woul vote for Manchin over Bernie.

I've been waiting for this. :sas1:

Or is this similar to Bernie or bust? :sas2:

This is how political discussion tends to be in this country, even at the "highest" levels. We have trolls in congress.

Hypothetically, if your only two choices were Manchin or Bernie, who would you roll with? And yes, I understand that this is not a realistic scenario, but in line with this thread, I want to know who you would choose.
A damn shame:francis:. I take politics very seriously as it affects all aspect of human life

yes, let's replace manchin with a republican :salute: i like the strategy
What the is the difference? One politician will water down a legislation bill, dikk around for months, and vote against it. The other will vote against it.

Both will vote against in the end. So what's the difference? :heh:

Lol

Neither

I find it problematic that the Democrats have elevated, enabled and bowed to the most conservative member of their caucus in the senate. The claim was that Bernie was too disruptive and costed Hillary the election. I will wait and see if Manchin gets congruent blame if the Dems lose the mid terms and the oval in 2024.

The long term disproportionate focus on electability has damaged the party badly. Its dragged the entire country to the right and depressed enthusiasm of voters who are least susceptible to go right wing entirely.

The party is trying to select winners rather than trying to deliver a winning message and supporting candidates that are copacetic with that message.

What does the party really stand for when it allows the one member least in line with the platform to tank them? What does the voter believe in when they vote for someone who is most appealing to the opposition?

You have the right to support Manchin because hes in line with your values more than someone like Bernie is.

Have a nice weekend
They can’t force him to vote

And Manchin is confirming judges voted first infrastructure and the Covid bill

Make him as irrelevant as possible. If he defeats a challenger and holds vs a Republican so be it. Money should not be directed his way and attention is better served placed elsewhere. Hes too toxic

Y’all are crazy.

The answer is to win more seats

I see you don’t know what the alternative is

I know what the alternative is :childplease:

I don't care about the alternative obliviously I'm not voting that way and never will. Now tell me what's the solution? More manchins? You just want democrats in power and not do anything at all?
