I didn't try to "troll the country into another Trump term." Stopping a racist police-obsessed right-wing corporate hack from straight-up buying the nomination was an existential question for the Democratic party. That had to be stopped at all costs, and if not letting establishment dems get the comfort of committing our votes before the election could contribute even 0.0001% to that, it's worth it.
You're arguing that we should have outwardly adopted a "We'll vote for whoever you nominate!!!" as our explicit messaging before the primary, thus making leverage completely worthless.
