OK, so we agree, Parker first out of all PGs.

After Parker, I'd go with Rondo. Ahead of Paul. Ahead of D-Rose. Ahead of Westbrook.
:deadrose:

No pun Intended

Truth is moving forward Rondo will have to really put in work to maintain his top 5 PG status because the league is now flooded with great PG.
  • Cats like Steph Curry and John Wall are starting to come into their own.
  • I'm still waiting on Kyrie Irving to really show me all he's got but he's no punk either.
  • I like Kemba Walker and Liliard A LOT!
  • I like the Bledsoe kid out in Phoenix but I think i prefer Rondo over him still.
  • Jeff Teague with the Hawks is very underrated.
If i had to put a team together right now and decide to build around a PG I'd take Rose Curry, Wall, and even Liliard before i even think about Rondo. Rondo has the experience of playing in big games in playoff atmosphere but these are younger and have far more upside than he does and overall, better. If age isnt a concern i'd add CP3 , Deron Williams and Parker to the list. I've never cared much for Westbrook and while I think he's better than Rondo right now but i'd still take Rondo over him. Im sure i'm forgetting someone.

The game was an anomaly. How many times has an offense led by Rondo (not by Pierce or KG) scored over 120 points? And let's not act like Rondo puit 50 poinyts...... he had 13.....

Did you even watch the game? The pace was accelerated generating more points because of more possessions. That's the difference. In most the Big 3 Era, pace was slower generating less possessions due to age of starting lineup. This debunks the assumption that Rondo stagnates offense.

No it doesn't. It had nothing to do with the aging lineup. Do you want to know why? Because last season happened - last season during the games where Rondo played they were ranked around 25th-27th in the league in pace........ there was no KG or Pierce on that squad.

Here is a better question @SuperCoolP_Cal
Would you give Rondo a Max contract? Just curious :usure:
This is what i mean when i say a player you build around. I'm talking about the player you break the bank for and get him at any cost (money wise or trade wise)
Certain players are cornerstone players. You do what you have to to get them. I could see some teams doing this to get Curry and Rose and even CP3 when he was balling. At no point in Rondo's career would i do that for him.

So a simple YES or NO would do: You overthrow Danny boy from the front office today and Rondo says he's 100% and he wants the max TODAY. Do you give it to him?

The Nets were actually worse when Pierce/KG were on the floor. How's that for HOFers?

No he was rehabbing. Taking it slow and only played only like 30 games of the season. But keep basing shyt of last season, knowing damn well the Cs weren't even trying to contend.

You saw Rubio's contract right? Contracts are usually set by the market.

It is painfully irrelevant to base an argument ast season. Talk about small sample size and other factors. If I based D Rose on last season, I would conclude he was woefully trash and shouldnt be in the NBA. LOL if the past season is the basis of your argument. You truly are reaching then.
