3/11, 7pts, 5 turnovers in 37 minutes. :lolbron:

Yep, forgot to mention assists, rebounds and the fact they overcame a 31 point deficit. Team scored only 41 points at the half, yet finished with 113 pts. His offense turned Jeff Green and Avery Bradley into 30+ point players. Not exactly hall or famers of or elite players, but I'm sure you and the fellow Rondo haters will try to convince otherwise.

All of this against a top notch WC team on the road.

Try harder.

@Blackthoughts curry is a sg now?
He has played the position in the Worlds, in college. In one of the GM polls, he came in 2nd for best SG. He is can play both positions, but isnt a pure pg
:mjlol: If you say so, bruh.
Most overrated player in the league easily

What does Rajon Rondo do that Chris Paul doesn't do better, since yall want to use "Best pure PG" argument in Rondo's favor against the likes of Curry, Westbrook, Rose etc.
LOL, just saw that Chris Paul had his first triple double as a Clipper. Dude is on his 4th season as a Clipper. In that same span Rondo has had 16! Not saying, but I am saying. :ehh:

LOL, this dude using select stats. Um if you have 15 assists who cares about 5 turnovers, especially since the officiating controlled at least one (offensive foul?), so :camby:. with that. And as for the shooting, all PGs have those nights, even CP3 was what, 5/12 with his first triple double of the season. As for yall fools saying this team wasnt gonna go over 90. well, that wasnt the case last night. Now y'all just going to contradictory arguments. Stop.

Dallas was killling by 30+ and just got complacent and let them come back. Stop it :heh:

Boston will have a bottom 5 offense this year and lose 50+ games and you'll still call Rondo a star :dead::

The Rondo slighting hate is so deep in this thread. The haters are so mad. :mjlol:

Diss a pass-first, championship-winning PG who plays defense and is a nightly threat for a triple-double in favor of scoring pseudo PGs who can't lead their teams in the playoffs, brehs. :heh:

:mjlol: you can't even address any points. You just presented a hypothetical. You're the one who said Rondo can't carry a good offense despite two 110+ games. He doesn't make teammates better despite getting dudes like Jeff Green, Avery Bradley and KO scoring. He is currently leading the NBA is assists with no HOFer or elite players on his roster. If this some other PG, you would give them the "he doesn't have a team" excuse. But with Rondo, all you do is hate. You can't even explain what is happening because it doesn't fit your narrative of an impact player.

Stop looking to ESPN stats and actually learn the game of basketball. Stop hating other players cause they challenge your favorite player. Notice how many FGAs the Celtics have and understand how this correlates with offense. Take note of the Celtics pace and understand how this impacts offense.

I know you have heard the narrative that Rondo lack of a jumpshot limits a team's offense, but that is just lazy NBA stats guys (who can't even run a basic regression model without the help of software) ignorance of the game of basketball, and that is the whole basis of your anti-Rondo argument. Right now, that bullshyt theory is being debunked before your very eyes.:bryan:

:stopitslime:

Spoken like somebody who didn't even watch the game.

Dallas got out to a VERY HOT start because they were shooting at an insanely high (and ultimately unsustainable) field goal percentage as a team. As soon as their shots stopped falling and the team was able to buckle down, play defense, and jump-start its offense, the Celtics started clawing their way back into the game. Rondo did a good job leading them despite having a tough shooting night (those 15 assists, 9 rebs, and 2 steals, though:leon:). Jeff Green and Avery Bradley both looked good, especially in the second half. Why can't Jeff Green play like that ALL THE TIME?:feedme:

Like I said last night, there are a lot of positives for Brad Stevens and the Celtics to take from last night's game. Last season, they would've been blown out and the game would've been over by the middle of the 3rd quarter. Last night, they brought it down to the wire...against a stacked Dirk-led Mavs that are favored to be among the top 6 in the West. That shows our team's maturity and great strength of character.

It's one thing to not like the Celtics and validly criticize them. But to act like the Celtics are a hopelessly inferior team that is intellectually disingenuous. Not to mention it makes you look like a hater.

My question is: why do you hate on Rondo and the Celtics so much? do you feel threatened by them?

LOL, I mean the hate is hard. calling someone "sorry" because got 15 assists, and ran a great offense against a top western team. If that is sorry, then all those scoring guards are even moreso.
