I'm saying rondo can't be curry because curry is an elite offensive talent and the best three point shooter of all time.

Ray Allen is. He's been tried and tested in every scenario imaginable. But Curry is a phenomenal shooter.

As a pure point guard I do not think he will be better than Kidd but overall I think he will he looked back at in a higher esteem. He needs to get better defensively though.

I'm assuming you're talking about Rondo.

I don't know how much better he can get defensively. He's the best defensive PG in the league in my opinion. And that's not only considering steals and rebounds. His man-on-man defensive and help-side defense is unparalleled at the point guard position. As a matter of fact, on the low, he and Avery Bradley form one of the best defensive backcourts in the game.

I do agree that Kidd was a better defender (and better all-around PG) than Rondo is now.

Then the next game, he cuts a 31 pt deficient to a one possession game. Gets 15 dimes and 9 boards while shooting less that 30% from the field. Team scores 113 points.

We can do this every game bruh. :sas1:

Just admit you don't understand his game.

His style of play goes against the most widely held beliefs of what makes an impact player. And for some reason, this drives folks mad.
Nope. What ever way you wanna paint it, this did not happen. Green and Bradley carried him all game.

N*gga, all I said was that CP3's esteemed contemporaries (including Conley) have led their teams further in the playoffs than he has. I didn't say Conley was better.

And if that's your sole critique of my post, I'm peace. I know it's nothing but the truth.

Oh, then yes, Curry needs to get much better defensively.

But I still think Kidd will be held in higher esteem than Curry 50 years from now. Not a knock on Curry.

Did you accidentally leave out his 15 assists, 9 rebounds and 2 steals, or was it just that they didn't fit your narrative?

:sas1:
Here's the thing, for somebody that handles the ball as much as he does (last season he had the ball in his hands more than anybody else in the league), and for the amount of times he looks for a shot (which is near the bottom for a starting pg), he should be getting double digits assists a game. But that doesn't mean shyt, because it doesn't win games. He doesn't know how to balance when to shoot/pass because he doesn't have the skillset to do so.

Rondo gonna have haters looking stupid this season :youngsabo:.

Proving all their baseless arguments wrong.

-Won't average 10+ assists without HOFs.

-His lack of scoring kills team offense.

-He won't be effective with average players.

:sas2:

Baseless? Is that what you substantial evidence to back these claims up. Ok.

@954UAlreadyknow

I know you love you some ESPN Stats & Info Twitter page.

Imma leave this here for you

And yet Rondo was the only starter with a negative +/-, which tells us he provided a lack of offense during the time that Mavs built their lead, and/or his impact wasn't as instrumental in building a comeback as you paint it as.

Truth Serum

LOL, this dude using select stats. Um if you have 15 assists who cares about 5 turnovers, especially since the officiating controlled at least one (offensive foul?), so :camby:. with that. And as for the shooting, all PGs have those nights, even CP3 was what, 5/12 with his first triple double of the season. As for yall fools saying this team wasnt gonna go over 90. well, that wasnt the case last night. Now y'all just going to contradictory arguments. Stop.
:mjcry: at you continuously making imaginary arguments.

The Rondo slighting hate is so deep in this thread. The haters are so mad. :mjlol:

Diss a pass-first, championship-winning PG who plays defense and is a nightly threat for a triple-double in favor of scoring pseudo PGs who can't lead their teams in the playoffs, brehs. :heh:
What success has a team had with Rondo leading the team? In fact when did Rondo ever lead his team in the playoffs? I can name multiple "pseudo scoring PGs" who've won more series than Rondo has as the leader.

:mjlol:Just give up dude. I already addressed your homie. Not going to re-type the same shyt.

Learn how to interpret stats and understand how +/- works. You clearly do not understand how to interpret advanced stats. . Just keep hating Rondo and pray that D Rose doesn't twist the other ankle.
