I talked to this chick for a lil bit and she ain't have nothing but like one or two pictures of herself and some other bullshyt pictures of some beaches with no information on her profile. Had the nerve to ask me what interested me about her profile

They want to be told that you sensed something, like a Jedi using The Force to detect her energy. They want to believe in a kind of mystical magic that brought yall together. Meanwhile the real answer is she looked good as hell.

This is the problem with today's women. They want to have their cake and eat it too. The app was supposed to empower women to reach out to the men they wanted to. The problem and the metrics all seem to bear this is that the women are reaching out to the same relatively small pool of men the key to saving this and other apps is to keep the men engaged.

This is probably just the inevitable end of dating apps in this form.

We went from forum dating to writing a profile with pics to just swiping on pics.

The reality is all of the apps basically were in a land grab for years and now need to prioritize monetization so the algorithm is designed to punish non-subscribers. Men are by far more willing to pay for these dating services than women.
Theres nothing that distinguishes the app if they remove that feature.

I suspect the frustration stems from not being realistic about your place in the pecking order and gaining zero traction with who you want…so basically what the average guy on other apps deal with

Women = date up for casual sex but date at level/below level for relationships

Men = the exact opposite

Men (usually) understand this dynamic which is why dudes will have a sidepiece that's uglier than their main woman. Women have it rough because they get to sow their oats with men wayyyyy outta their league (physically speaking) and don't realize that Mr. 6 pack/6 foot/6 figs trying to marry his equal and only wants some late night pwussy from Ms. Cool but Average.

most of them complain about hating small talk not realizing that's where most interactions and conversations start.

That’s the thing though. 80% of the women on these apps are just window shopping. They already got a “situationship” that they’re doing the small talk with. So they hate the small talk with a man on a phone screen that’s not real to them. If a woman is serious about finding someone she’ll happily engage in the small talk and will actively engage in the conversation no matter how basic.

That’s what guys gotta peep. If she’s “yeah’ing” and “lol’ing” you to death without follow up questions or comments, bush her.

No I think being single will be the norm. Most women don't really like most men when they are free to choose. Some of the most attractive men will have rosters or pair off with their equal, some women will not want to be part of a roster and stay single. Many men will just retreat quietly and numb themselves with porn, video games etc. Japan and South Korea are already there.
