Took the words right out of my mouth. Most of the apps are approaching the decade mark, if they haven't reached it already. The apps were more of a Millenial phenomenon, with most of them leaving the dating pool and pairing up. Zoomers don't really fukk with it, mostly as a joke and they sure as hell ain't throwing a dime away in this economy. That's going to cause issues in the long run when the subscribing userbase contracts.

The way Tinder rolled out that $500 tier makes me think they see the ride ending soon, and are cashing out on whales and the desperate to make as much money as possible. Their placing a convenient dating pool behind a paywall, and doing whatever fukkshyt that prevent people from matching is going to put their apps in the grave.

If they just kept a constant $10 premium sub, they probably would be doing great. Now, they got dudes shelling $50 minimum to swipe on scammers and trolls.
