Am I the only one who thinks the Knicks won't be as good. Looks great on paper for sure. Why do we think Rose is gonna turn into this super healthy, non-injury prone player? No shots but we hoping for years for that and it didn't happen. Also, That defense with Melo and Rose on the court at the same time

Rose played over 65 games last year, he's changed his game to that of a more traditional PG. If it all falls apart IMO it won't be because of him. It'll be the quality of those roleplayers

Who do you want though? Its not like its some star nikkas out there we could get we not going for. Some just want to complain and if that's the case cool since we been doing bad (not really my steeze). If your not just whining who are these dudes we should be going after? I'm waiting to see what 're-tooling' means. That's what they are doing supposedly.

They have to make some trades, obviously. At this point, I'm just hoping for the Minny deal to resurface.

I wouldnt expect anything this FA period

Id like them to resign Moore though if its reasonable

I don't know that they're resigning Moore, I think guys like Lance, Waiter, Turner are backup options if they dnt sign Moore

he would have played over 70, but the bulls were holding him out of games he could play in. especially at the end of the season where he missed like the last 3 games cuz they weren't playing for anything.

I think that Blake and Westbrook sign somewhere else or stay with their team, and then the Bulls with their 70M are forced to cash out a lower tiered star because they couldn't get any of the A tier guys.

the big FA's almost always stay with their squads, so yeah, thats prob gonna happen

doesnt mean we cant do well on the second tier FA market

theres a big misconception with NBA fans that players moved around much in FA, when its not the case

we are still better off as 'players' in the FA market than like 90% of the league when we have money

Boozer signing wasnt a bad signing, it was a necessity for us to take that step into being a 60 win team even with his shortcomings

thats why Im desperately wanting a top 5-6 pick this season - we could draft what projects to be a high level player alongside Jimmy and hopefully do well on the second tier FA market and pray our young guys develop into something (Portis, Denzel, Doug, Felicio, Grant)

Moore wont be cheap, but he can play two positions, and even if you bring in a better PG by trade this season, or FA next year, or even if Grant developed ... hes still going to be useful over course of his contract at 27 youre getting him during his best years

Every player is basically going to be costly from here on out, its very important you choose the right guys right now, because one fukkup sets you back something serious with how much you're committing

Id bring back Moore and push some combo of Niko/Taj/Doug/Snell hard in trades

Ish Smith got 6 mil per

I think Ish Smith is a much better PG than E'Twaun, but I'm guess Moore will get more. And I wanted Lin.
