I dont have many ideas ... but I posted this in draft thread ... I think it would be a smart aggressive move

Bulls should do what it takes to move up and draft Jaylen Brown and just say fukk it and run Jimmy Butler at PG

Could Taj, 14th and Sac pick get it done?

I'm sorry buy if rose balled out .. The bulls were winning x contendin again, And the jimmy x rose dynamic worked out ..I'm sure everyone would have found a way to co exist or make it work

Maybe derrick walks ,but this team isnt in a better position with these parts they trade for now ..(then if he walked in the off season )

The bulls could have retooled with similar parts( that they got from this trade _) specially with the.loss of.derrick and his contract

@ least we would have seen what derrick.looked like with a healthy off season

And seen if rose and jimmy could co exist after more time in Fred's system

This is more about the FO findin a fall guy For there decision to fire thibs ..the debacle of last season and makin sure they don't look bad':if '_ they didn't want to resign derrick next off season

This has nothing to do with makin this team younger ..more athletic ..or more suitable to Fred's system

Coz none of the people they traded for help in that regard or fit that line they trying to sell us

Imo keeping rose was a win, win. If he balls out, we back Contending we can go after blake griffin to add to rose and jimmy, you find a couple of stop gaps to add to rose and jimmy, and next season, you see if rose will take a team friendly deal so they can have the room to add on,

And if he sucks or injured, you let him go, clear 60 mill and have enough to go to westbrook and blake and say come join jimmy,

Adding Lopez killed that goal. And since they are not going to go hard in free agency this season, now they will take some 7th 8th seed squad with that roster, with they little 30 mill or so and who they offering that to that will join us?

So the only thing that saves our future, is jimmy goes ape shyt, avg 27 6 and 8 or some thing like that, hoiberg finally decides to be a good coach and we end up top 3 in the east, and then we can take that into free agency in 2017 and be a major player.

But what is the likelihood that happens? I really hope it does, but right now we can name 9 teams clearly better than us right now. Maybe 10 if Milwaukee comes back to what they supposed to be. This just not looking good. I'm trying to see the bright side, I'm not seeing it

That was my point ..if rose works 'fine ' but let's see what happens first ..give it a chance

That outcome even if not totally successful ..doesn't mean you can't ' retool' in the same way during the next off season

I'm fearing seeing rose melo and zingas in the ecf and us fighting for a 8th seed

I'm fearing rose and melo sending us home in the 1st rd as them the 2nd seed and us the 7th.

We get no good draft pick that is franchise caliber and we adding more mcdermott, snell caliber players

Just making 1st rd playoff revenue so jerry can stay in the black

And to top that all off, no marquee free agent will want to join this franchise based on our track record of failing to add quality to the roster and how we treat players and coaches who did good here.

Someone, tell me how this can be turned around, I'm trying to move forward.

Take the sentiments & feelings out of it, you moved a player who didn't push pace, didn't play great defense and until this yr couldn't stay healthy and was a ball dominant point guard. Plus he was in a contract yr and was going to leave (he publicly talked about trying FA, he was at least gonna test it out)

The Knicks might be a playoff team, maybe. They'll be terribly defensively and are banking on Rose being healthy and being a facilitator instead of a ball dominant PG...him playing with Melo is gonna be the same shyt y'all just saw with Rose & Jimmy

But shyt, I kno it's tough to see Rose go, but y'all gotta think long term, y'all team had peaked with Rose years ago it was time to move in a different direction

Breh I agree that y'all FO sucks, no argument, but GarPax isn't going anywhere. This trade on its face gives y'all a chance to rebuild. Your current core was tapped out and couldn't make the playoffs last year . Pau & Noah probably aren't coming back either, so why try to give it another shot with Rose when he told y'all he was probably gonna test FA after next yr anyway. You would've just prolonged the inevitable...better to get something now than watch him walk for nothing
