I'd rather have just let him leave in free agency. The lopez contract is a killer. He's making $14 mil for the next 3 years. Hes not garbage, but he sure as hell aint worth that. U could've probably gotten biyambo for not much more than that and you'd be good. Or even mahinmi for less. I don't know what they're doing and I don't think they do either.

that Lopez contract is a pretty solid contract in the new CBA breh, if they wanted to move it, they could easily get a team to take him

Yeah, cats like Biyombo are gonna get ridiculous contracts this summer. That Lopez deal isn't that bad given the new CBA.

Imo keeping rose was a win, win. If he balls out, we back Contending we can go after blake griffin to add to rose and jimmy, you find a couple of stop gaps to add to rose and jimmy, and next season, you see if rose will take a team friendly deal so they can have the room to add on,

Derrick wasn't gonna do that shyt.

Any body that has spent the majority of their contract injured and with 2 years left on the contract says before the season starts that they're looking forward to free agency so they can get the most money they can get isn't taking a team friendly deal.

This trade hurted me.... I know this just basketball to some people and just Business to Them... But man being from the City it was Bigger than basketball when it came to rose.... Me being from one of the worse parts of Chicago and him being from the other. Dude really was a rose through concrete..... Yesterday was a sad day in Chicago ppl really was on some type of stuff yesterday... Then to wake up and see that rose didn't even know he was being trade and that He's extremely hurt.. Smh..... I'm still riding with our team but I'm joining the Knicks squad also

It's just a sad situation and I'm trying to get past it. I'll be rooting for the Wolves and Knicks .... but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't gonna be a Bulls fan, it's ingrained in me
