and bringing in a 35 year old (when the season starts) wade for $20+M/yr multiple year deal ain't whats hot in these streets.

I'm not big on Hoiberg... buy why would they sign a player who 1) doesn't fit his scheme whatsoever 2) is a known a$$hole and has trouble taking direction from coaches

I would've thought GarPax's jobs depended in Hoiberg being decent since they ousted Thibs for him

I think Rondo is gonna be the coach on the floor, and may even help Hoiberg in the long run...It's a retarded situation that us bulls fans don't deserve.

School me on who can come here and make a major impact, that may make me feel a lot better about tearing it down.

I just don't want to become the sixers, a team with a ton of top 10 players from the draft who can't win and create a losing culture.

Signing Wade changes EVERYTHING as far as perception and being a quality destination next off season. No it does not make us contenders, nothing at this point makes us contenders but how do you get to contender level? You add guys like wade and hope he can help you land blake griffin.

I know 1 way never to be a contender, spend the next 10 years looking at the draft and continuing to get players who need development.

Again, all I'm saying, it's no harm in trying. At least these fools are actually on the phones this off season. better than other off seasons when they are literally not doing a damn thing all summer.

Signing Wade doesn't undo anything. It's just the Bulls signing an aging star. Like Gasol this would do nothing when you can look at the Rose/Butler BS, trading DRose for scrubs, Dismissing the heart and soul of the team Noah like he's a scrub, Thibs being smeared/canned for a friend, and the team having no direction. Chicago needs a player friendly FO with direction. Look at GS, they have a great FO and a coach they love playing for. You can't say that with Hoiberg, Forman and Paxson.

How you tanking but got jimmy going beast mode the tank plan went out the window when we didn't take the bag for jimmy. Adding Lopez and adding rondo further kills any talk of a tank. Since we past that point we should be trying to get the best team on the floor that doesn't compromise the cap space and hope to hit a home run in next seasons off season.

At this point as constructed we could miss the playoffs but we talking another pick between 10-14th. Who are getting in that area that is going to change life for us? And if we miss the playoffs again what major free agent coming to a losing situation? So then you stuck in the middle too good to get a top 3 pick, too bad to make some noise in the east and be attractive next off season. You gotta choose a side. I'm choosing add as much help as you can that doesn't kill your flexibility.

We did that with Boozer and Hinrich when we had Rose, and Noah and Deng. Wade isn't the guy to turn this around Jerry Reisndorf is. You can change it by cutting out the cancer and dead wood. Fire Gar/Pax and Hoiberg and start over. It's gonna suck now anyway. Time to rebuild.
