Right now they are the a$$holes who have never signed the big fish, pushed fukking Thibs of all people away, traded away Derrick Rose and minimized a Bulls legend in Noah

They need to buy some goodwill back in the league, and a Wade signing accomplishes that

Unfortunately, a lot of Bulls fans have been conditioned to automatically write off the possibility of getting the "GUY" in free agency due to the team's history.

That's why I'm saying, if you don't get Wade, the best case scenario is for Butler to really turn into a top 7-10 player in the NBA and make the Bulls an attractive destination. Bulls have to overachieve to get the big name guys attention next summer.

Inserting Wade just makes it easier to look more appealing to those on the outside looking in...

They pull off getting rose and now they got ring chasers and everything coming to join them and taking less to do it

That is why you add guys like wade. Players see you putting together something, they will want to join. Just like rose was able to bring noah to ny with him, no telling who wade can bring here with him.

It's really no harm in trying, he says no, you still got your space, gave up nothing significant etc.

Malta would a starting line up with Rajon rondo,jimmy butler and dwayne wade along with taj gibson and robin lopez work I can't believe I gotta even ask this

The spacing would be atrocious, no driving lanes and the mid-range would be a mess, a PG that can't shoot combined with 2 interior bigs neither of them being great passers is a recipe for disaster.

I don't even think that team would make the playoffs if you start those guys together, Mirotic would need to be in the for spacing alone.

No way that team misses the playoffs.

Bulls still have good shooters to pair with these guys off the bench.

You don't think they can get floor spacing with Doug, Niko, Valentine, Portis and Grant on the team?

They still have shooters on the roster. I was just throwing out a potential lineup off top. And before Jimmy's knee injury, his jumper was decent.

Really haven't seen any examples of ring chasers tho. They traded for rose, Noah a ny nikka so after getting rose that was basically a lock, lee and Jennings got deals they weren't getting from anywhere else.

Bulls have zero chance of landin Wade at this stage ( after signing rondo first )

And have less then zero chance of signn Westbrook

Its a sad state ..but once bulls.luck.out on both players , and once again go bust in free agency next year

If they didn't sign Rondo and could comfortably hand Wade his 25M per deal we would be the only other option other than Miami really, Denver wouldnt even be in the running. Should have just done that
