That's my feeling too

We werent gonna get two max guys to sign next summer. Better chance at going after one with Wade/Jimmy on the team and a decent season under the belt

Still have no idea how Rondo fits tho

This is the sentiment with many fans but your double talking

How you tanking but got jimmy going beast mode the tank plan went out the window when we didn't take the bag for jimmy. Adding Lopez and adding rondo further kills any talk of a tank. Since we past that point we should be trying to get the best team on the floor that doesn't compromise the cap space and hope to hit a home run in next seasons off season.

At this point as constructed we could miss the playoffs but we talking another pick between 10-14th. Who are getting in that area that is going to change life for us? And if we miss the playoffs again what major free agent coming to a losing situation? So then you stuck in the middle too good to get a top 3 pick, too bad to make some noise in the east and be attractive next off season. You gotta choose a side. I'm choosing add as much help as you can that doesn't kill your flexibility.

I actually wanted to see grant run PG, NOT sign rondo and just let jimmy go HAM while we stink it up. hopefully the rookies and other young players improve while we fail to make the playoffs. but yeah, the rondo signing put a monkey wrench in all that it seems.
