All I see Is a win win going after wade

If he says yes, we position ourselves to go hard after blake next off season. And can compete more this year.

If he says no, we just helped kill miami flexibility and take them out as competitors as that 25 mills kills them going forward.

Just can't take it personal, I'm not mad at them at least trying to pull it off.

Man, yal acting like the Bulls would sign Wade to a 5 year deal. It would be just like Rondo's deal, 1 year just to wait for next summer's free agency.

I mean, the Bulls aren't tanking so I'm not sure why yal opposed to adding Wade for a year. They are content with being a 5 seed in the East so why not just make it happen?

It's worth it when your rep as a team is mud and you need to do something to change that.

If he says yes to that, either he has a 1 year opt out so if he sucks, we put together a competitive team at least on paper but we still have our space for next off season, and even if we keep him beyond that, we would still have enough space for 1 max slot, and we would only have to give up guys who need to go anyway to make it happen. Not like we have to part with young talent or draft picks. Not like we killing our flexibility, like it would be if the heat re sign him, really not any risk at all here.

Wade's deal would be more similar to Durant's than rondo's. 1 and 1 with a player option for the second year and u best believe he ain't opting out that second year.

Signing Wade is a good idea solely for the fact it creates the illusion our FO can sign a big name FA that is widely respected around the league

Its gives the Bulls some respect again in the league

Having Wade/Jimmy going into next offseason with a max to offer and you actually have a chance at locking down a big name FA

They should have chilled on the Rondo situation and let the Wade thing play out. If Rondo is still available, whatever, if hes not, who cares?

The blazers gave evan turner 72 million they aren't matching both harkless and crabbe offer sheets those dudes 23,24 years old.Crabbe is a 3 & D wing outside jimmy the bulls have no capable wing defender besides snell sorry ass

Harkless a young athletic wing who can defend whose game improved last year put him in an up tempo system and let him eat.These are the players the bulls should be interested in.Jimmy and rondo next season with a young roster let them develop/play and see who is worth keeping.That should be the plan the bulls would still have 40 mil in cap space next summer with less holes to fill if they did this.

We would need to stretch Calderon and unload Taj probably to make a Wade trade work (unloading Duns wouldnt free up 25M)

It just all makes alot less sense with the Rondo signing, and if we didnt do the Rondo signing, we could have offered him 25M straight up and still created another 10 mil in space by stretching Calderon and dumping Duns

They were doing a good job of slow playing the market, then they go ahead and sign Rondo, and I really dont think he had any market???

Signing Wade changes EVERYTHING as far as perception and being a quality destination next off season. No it does not make us contenders, nothing at this point makes us contenders but how do you get to contender level? You add guys like wade and hope he can help you land blake griffin.

I know 1 way never to be a contender, spend the next 10 years looking at the draft and continuing to get players who need development.

Again, all I'm saying, it's no harm in trying. At least these fools are actually on the phones this off season. better than other off seasons when they are literally not doing a damn thing all summer.

While I like those guys you listed, I'm willing to just roll with the plethora of SFs and wings that we have now and have 70M+ in cap space next summer than signing them and cutting into that. If you strike out on the big name guys, then you fill out the roster that way.

Yeah that's what I meant to say, they offering him 2 years at 25+ per year or something crazy...
