he threw primarily from the pocket at Bama. No rollouts or none of that shyt either. GREAT pocket presence.

But he also had the benefit of Bama's talent on the o-line being one of the better ones in college football.

just hope he don't get folded up. Sure he knows he'll need to gain more muscle.
Exactly. I'm not saying he can't do it. But you know pros vs. college is different beasts. He not gon have that luxury of "out-talenting" everybody he face. They are gon have to move that pocket or have him deeper inside of it (gun, pistol), in the pros he not dropping back 15-20 times and playing a full season.
OCs gonna have to get a bit creative with him; he gonna have to bulk up, and I think this could be a good marriage, if they get him some talent to play with

Garcia was 5’11, in the right system it can be workable. I have no idea about youngs arm strength though

Bryce absolutely ran at Bama, that's how we know he needs to learn how to slide lol. It was improvised and not game planned just like it is most of the time for anybody but Lamar, he's supposed to stay in the pocket

The tape is out there for what he did when Bama's pocket collapsed vs linemen in this draft ie Georgia

He's small but he's been small and dominated everywhere he's been. If he was in the Big Sky conference or some shyt then ok but he killed NFL talent in the SEC, Saban gave him the keys and let him run the offense, qbs just aren't doing that in college like that. Everything else you need other than 3 more inches he's got, he'll be fine

Can he? There's a difference between being short and small. Russel Wilson is short but isn't small at all. He's stocky and built for the punishment. I kinda think Bryce is just small and doesn't have the frame to get to 220.
this. its not about the height, look at Kyler Murray, he's a legit midget. but much like Wilson, he's stocky and can take the hits.
there's skinny receivers like Devonte Smith, but he's usually bracing for it, and being hit by DBs. Bryce is going to be getting blind sided by NFL linemen

Bryce will be fine, he took hits like this with a bum shoulder, got right back up for the next play

that's not the NFL breh. He better get ready for hits like that every game. They're going to try to kill him.

This ain’t 2003, the QB is more protected in the NFL than ever before

Not saying his size isn’t a concern but there’s a reason why he went #1 in 2023
