I think the issue of small players getting hit is overblown. Big players get hit too, tall qbs can be just as slight as short qbs.

The real problem is seeing the field and throwing over the line Elite short quarterbacks have to have next-level awareness to know what's going on and be able to throw into the gaps. They're always at a disadvantage and only a certain talent level can make up for that.

The tall QB might be lean but he's still 220 lbs+ while Bryce is probably walking around at 185 lbs tops.

Agree 100% on the height thing. Gotta have anticipation, awareness and footwork. Big hands help too as Russ and Brees had like 10" mitts...which usually helps with velocity and placement on throws.

Russ/Drew are 1st rd picks if they were 6'3". Young, Kyler etc., would have been 2nd/3rd rounders too if they played at Purdue and Wisconsin instead of Bama and Oklahoma.

Have you watched CJ play at all this year? The Texans are ass. CJ has played well. Completing 63% of his passes. Over 600 yards, 2tds and 0 picks in 2 games.

yes i've watched him play and he's not great past 2 reads. 2 TDs in two games is not fukking impressive at all
