I think it’s funny you talk about stuff like you know the Panthers when they didn’t trade Baker

They cut him cause they thought his value was so low he wasn’t gonna bring them anything.. and look what he is now
:umad:

"The Browns and Panthers have agreed to a trade that sends Mayfield to Carolina in exchange for a 2024 conditional fifth-round pick (which can become a fourth-round selection), NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport and NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported Wednesday. "

Yall try too hard to be wrong :Pantherswow:

  • Mayfield, 27, requested his release and the Panthers agreed to it, league sources with direct knowledge of the situation confirmed to The Athletic.

He asked to be released and we did him a solid. :umad:

The Panthers cut him because they realized they weren’t gonna get the value back they wanted.. that’s a fact

In the nfl is starts with the offensive coordinator and the right coaching scheme

And for Carolina they have nothing

U coach to your players strengths and not coach him the way u think that will work for him..

U not going to have tom brady or rodgers under center all the time, because thats not them.. that suited for the kirk cousins and baker mayfield types who are play action type QBs

Given the money left on his contract as a former #1 pick I'm not sure how this will play out. Maybe Carolina just cuts him after the season because why would anyone trade for him. He's owed 10mil next year, and 12mil the year after. That's like...starter money for multiple positions. Is anyone stepping up to pay him 10-12mil instead of giving that to their center, LB, receiver, etc? It's fully guaranteed too. I guess you could say that teams pay (wack) backup QBs a lot of money all the time but man...I'm not sure any front office would want this guy.

Maybe Carolina just keeps him, drafts a QB next year and then cuts Bryce at the end of this contract? That might be his best shot.

How? Nico was cookin' him for the most part lol

Broadie grading out worse than he did last yr which was already bad.

That’s because they put their lockdown corner Jalen Johnson on Diggs to make sure Diggs didn’t wreck the game by himself.

Who in the league is covering Nico Collins? :heh:

A week ago he was the defensive player of the week. Yal nikkas really be on some bullshyt over 1 game.
He just wants to concentrate on shoring up the narrative he’s made up in his head :mjlol:

Stevenson looked good the majority of the game, Nico is just a top 5 receiver in the NFL and the Bears had their clamp down corner on Diggs.

It’s going to be a Cardinals Drew Stanton situation, unfortunate but Bryce got put in too early with a terrible team that isn’t fostering any type of growth for him. Best he could hope for is a Marcus Mariota type of career at this point.
