If they're actually talented they could just do what the House actor did. Go in with the opposite accent, do their audition in the role's native accent and then reveal their real accent after the fact.

The studios own the roles and they are lent, not given to actors they believe can contribute to the film's success whether it's the audience they bring in, their performance or other variables.

Going after black British actors is going about it the wrong way and won't have any effect. If anything go after the major studios they're the ones who own and produce every part of the films including casting.
