Here is one of my random thoughts on this situation, Don't know if it this was mentioned here BUT think about this coach for second:
1. This coach has been a HC for 15 years and has NEVER had a loosing season.
2. This HC has lead his team to SEVEN NFC north titles
3. This HC has had his team in the playoffs 10 of those 15 seasons
4. This HC has two trips to the super bowl
5. This coach has won a super bowl
This coach is the ONLY black HC currently in the NFL and other than Belichick who is the consensus GOAT HC, this coach is the second most successful HC in the last 20 years..
My point is and how it ties into the Flores lawsuit is there is not a "Mike Tomlin coaching tree", you never hear that talked about with the media, fans, or even steeler fans.
Belicheick has been getting coaches hired for the last 17+ years because of his "tree", and one after one they have been unsuccessful and it never stops..
The NFL is a reflection of our real society, you have those in the dominant society who practiced white supremacy and others who claimed they are not racist and some blacks who play dumb right along with them.
The last 48 hours the narrative is already changing with Flores, everyone who he spoke publicly about according to the media they have come back with "scathing" pushback condemning Flores, also Hue Jackson didn't help flores case either. I don't know what the end result is but what I do know is if Flores is offered a job this year he will take it, if nothing is offered then I do not see him getting a job again in the NFL.
FIVE coaches hired already this off season, none of them black. The most respected black former HC Tony Dungy is soft shoeing and walking the line but Flores is on a island by himself unfortunately even though us who are NOT playing dumb can see the BS going on with this league..
