I've done Detroit to busan
Detroit to Okinawa
Also flying to the Middle East takes awhile as well . Kuwait to Philippines was like 9 hour flight with a layover in dubai which sucks cuz they pack you on a tranist bus with a bunch of stinky foreigners (tcns) to get to your next gate.
For long flights I usually get drunk or buzzed and pop a sleeping pill before takeoff

As a breh that flew in to Seattle from Seoul last month, PLEASE!!!!! PLEASE!!!!! UPGRADE TO FIRST CLASS!!!!

I had some bad ass Filipino toddler that was kicking me for the entire duration of that 10-hour flight while his grandparents ignored him:francis:. I couldn't even sleep:francis:.

First class was sitting pretty with reclining chairs, plenty of leg room, plenty of lean-back-space, etc.

When I fly to Japan, I'm definitely upgrading my boarding and seating position, fúck that. I'd rather go down in the cold ass ocean than sit in coach on that 12-hour flight to Narita:francis:

Yeah anything over 10 hours is an immediate first class for me

I had to deal with a lil hispanic kid one flight. Idk if that was his mom or grandma he was with, but she wouldn’t control that kid for shyt. Literally had me up the ENTIRE fukkING FLIGHT. I wanted to cuss her ass out

Never again

I know this is the coli, but first class tickets to Japan is $13k. And that's only one person. That's a lot of damn money.:picard:

I thought international flights were bigger?

Y'all got any strong suggestions for food spots for when I touch down?

hungry-school-boy-q.gif
For Tokyo:
- Ramen Street food hall in the basement of Tokyo JR train station, 8 or so ramen shops from all over Japan. My favorite was Oreshiki Jun…they blow torch the chashu and the broth is :wow:
- Hakata Gyoza Ya, best gyozas I’ve ever had, don’t miss the bean sprouts/ground pork appetizer
- Butagami - pork katsu that’s sourced from all over Japan like a steakhouse.
- Tsukiji fish market - yes it’s mad tourists but look for the charbroiled tuna outside the market.
- Ninja Tokyo is a themey restaurant with decent food, extraordinary experience
- Gonpachi Nishiazabu is the restaurant that inspired the legendary Kill Bill fight scene
- not a restaurant but don’t miss Sega Joypolis if you’d like video games that are also rides

It was just under 9k in May. Not sure how far in advance you're looking, but I try to do two months out or close to it

I found a flight and hotel package on Expedia for $3600 for 11 days in November. Basic economy though. Probably $4500 total for the trip

It is really that cheap? :ohhh:

What city you going to? Tokyo? Osaka? Naha (Okinawa)?

Tokyo
Tokyo got one of my favorite spots in Yoyogi called Bakery and Burger JB's. I bullshyt you not, that "JB" stands for James Brown :mjlol:

If you in the mood for a little snack, hit up the many Komeda's Coffee around Tokyo. The ones I go to are in Shinjuku, right next to Kabukicho and another next to Keio Plaza Hotel. I always get the fried chicken:

Make sure you bring your own hot sauce. I never leave the States without it, real nikka shyt :russ:

Most people visit the Shibuya Scramble (the famous crosswalk with a gang of people), so if you go there, there's a Shabu Shabu restaurant near the top floor called Shabushabu Tsukada

if you're unfamiliar with Shabu Shabu, basically, you put beef and vegetables in a pot of hot water that nearly instantly cooks them.

This was a little on the pricey side, but the shyt was FLAMES and the city views are IMMACULATE:banderas::blessed:

Finally, if you're in the mood for some entertainment when you eat, you can try the Kill Bill Restaurant, called Gonpachi Nishiazabu. The food is OK, but the vibes are great, and it's right next to clubs where the vibes continue into the late night on the weekends

Osaka

Osaka got my favorite restaurants, period.

Ramen Daisenso is one of the best ramen spots I know about. They put the chashu (pork) on the bowl so it's visually unique, I've never seen anything like it. But the ramen ain't even what I go there for- nikka, they got the best Karaage (fried chicken thigh) on the island, that's FACTS:demonic:

Unfortunately, I don't have any photos from this restaurant because I use this place as a date spot :mjlit:

But I'm going back to Japan in a few days and I'll update y'all with some from this restaurant, because you literally have to taste it to believe what I'm saying.

Specialty Cow Restaurant Itamae Yakiniku Ichigyu Shinsaibashi Main Branch (I know, I know) is the BEST yakiniku I think I've ever had in my life. It's a little hard to find on google maps for some reason, but there's a bronze cow outside, you literally can't miss it.

Easily the most tender yakiniku I've ever had, and I hate tough yakiniku with a passion. This shyt is outstanding

Was on a flight to Cali and this asian flight attendant did it for me l.

Might get back to Taipei/Thailand, and check out Cambodia/Vietnam later this year or early next year.
I flew Thai Air from BKK to Samui. 45 min flight. Beautiful, thin, young Thai stewardesses.
:ohlawd:
Full blown meal served.
:leon:
Them girls were hustling to get and pick the meals up before touchdown.

I’m not a Tokyo guy but find you the best yakuniku spot.
:ohlawd:
I’ve been on a run right now. I had some in Haneda last week in the airport. FLAMES.
:blessed:
It something about that wagyu.
kbbq-korean.gif

It’s the tender food with the fat. Plus you control the temp of your meal. Then you add all the sauces they offer. Add some deep flavored ramen or udon.
:whew:
Yeah. Yakuniku is it. Do not skip.

All my life, I’ve never smashed them spinsters. I’m 5’7 168. I been knocking down 140-180 weight women.
:pachaha:
Get to Thailand, 105-125 is the norm. It’s something about them thin bodied women.
:ohlawd:
You got me thinking about them memories now.
:whew:
I had to delete all my shyt before I got married. I just have one picture of a thick lil Thai chick I cuffed for a month. Her English name was Beer.
:heh:
I actually knew three different Beers. It must be popular.
