PG x MD
PG Steph..
SG Lamelo..
SF Klay..

That woulda been scary af.. fukk you talking bout :russ:
Lamelo is clearly a PG and most effective with the ball in his hands making plays for himself and others. I'm not saying that collective couldn't work because I'm sure Kerr would find a way to make it work but this wouldn't be the same Melo we're seeing now.

WERE IN AN AGE OF “POSITIONLESS” BASKETBALL..

LAMELO MORE THAN HAS THE SIZE TO START IN THE BACKCOURT WIT STEPH

AND HES ON GERATIONAL TALENT TRAJECTORY, SO IT WOULD DEFINITELY WORK ONE WAY OR ANOTHER

Melo played decades with Lonzo.. I’m sure he could play with Steph and Klay

Is breh retired? Why ain't he playing?
Because the Warriors realize he's not yet ready to contribute to a winning-team, and they don't want to throw him in at the deep end. There's talks he won't even be brought back this season, that he won't return until 2022/23.

It's a disaster, and it's gonna keep this team from contending for a title.

On Draft Night, Wendell Carter and #4 was on the table for #2, just sayin'

I believe it seeing as the Bulls shipped Wendell's ass out of Chicago at the deadline.

and if that was the best offer for the #2 pick, that says a lot. (and in Carter's case, they had to move him AND 2 firsts to get Vucci Mane). When a team picks that high, they swing for the fences. It's why they took Wiseman. It's why they took Kuminga.

The bolded is very overstated. If anything, we're seeing a gradual return to length being vital for a team to succeed. It's only that now those big have guard level skill sets.

I don't even know what this kid's injury is.
:manny:
Not being good enough to play with Steph is a serious injury.

What would Lamelo do for the Warriors right now or the nest 3 years even? They have more than enough guard and wing talent. Warriors should have just traded the pick
He gives them another ball handler, playmaker and shot creator. Its only Draymond and Steph doing that right now. It would be a huge plus for this current team. They probably make the playoffs last season with LaMelo.

I don't get this sentiment. They would of have gotten a young center with a few years under his belt that is a good screener who probably would have meshed well with the veterans of Golden State. And with the 4th Pick they could have taken any of the wings available at 4. For the sake of this discussion, I'll just say Pat Williams.

WCJ and Williams is better for Golden State last year and moving forward than Wiseman is. Then coming into this draft, they could have moved picks if they wanted to instead of drafting 2 more rookies.

Swinging for the fences IMO last year would have been taking Melo 2nd not Wiseman.

LaMelo in Golden State would be great. Steph doesn't need the ball, Klay doesn't need the ball, they'd be integrating another player that can run an offense who is a great passer and playmaker in general. Players who struggle within Golden State's system are players who don't instinctively make right basketball players, Melo wouldn't have that problem.
