Agreed. It would do him wonders. He needs consistent minutes to figure things out.He really needs an extended stay in the G-League for a bit, but unfortunately GS timeline isn't going to allow that to happen.
@No1 knows Im the king of instigating shytYou just gonna start some shyt on this peaceful Saturday early evening. Watch that dodo bird @Regular_P fall for it too
Like clockwork
I’m not even talking hindsight, that’s obvious. The logic in the way they went honestly made sense to me, shyt just didn’t work out
the idea of Weisman fit everything they coulda wanted out of a center. Again, just whiffed
That's all fine and good except the future franchise player of the Dubs is still Stephen Curry.these bozos failed to draft the rookie of the year and a second year all star but wanted Weisman. Melo is literally any team’s future franchise player and one of the next faces of the league — basically what Zion was supposed to and never will be.
So tired if this dumbass shytty excuse.Embid played a total of 78 games in his first 3 years
So tired if this dumbass shytty excuse.
While it's true Embid played 78 games, he was balling in those 78 games. Wiseman is spraining his knee and can't do anything the G League.
Stop it.
I will say, Embiid is the best possible scenario. But Embiid is Embiid. He was balling in college and was great whenever he played. Wiseman, however, was statistically the worst player last season. Also wiseman has to prove SOMETHING. He is just a big guy. He didn’t have Embiid’s aggression and he doesn’t defend like Embiid. Embiid had solid fundamentals and has on-court awareness. Wiseman has none of thatIt’s not an excuse all we saying is he was a #2 pick right? Embid was a #1? Greg Oden #1? They had 3 years to get it together correct? Well the same applies for Weisman
The Embiid comparisons need to stop. Wiseman doesn’t have 1/100000000000000000th of Embiid’s ability, and he never will. Embiid is a transcendent talent (this was obvious before he even came into the league), and Wiseman is Yinka Dare with a Penny co-sign. I don’t know what the hell anyone ever saw in him; he hasn’t displayed any attribute of an elite big man. He has stone hands, he doesn’t have any court awareness and BBIQ, he plays without purpose, and pretty much lacks nearly every basketball skill. Nxggas were fooled by his size, how fast he could run North-South and the desperate need for the ‘big man’ to return, that they ended up being caught in the shiny new toy syndrome.
I told y’all from the very beginning that this would end in a disaster for GS if they drafted him, and even then I couldn’t imagine it turning out this bad. They can’t even trade him because he has no value.
You really really dislike the kid.
Let the youngin play a full season first.
How does LaMelo increase this teams chances at a title?these bozos failed to draft the rookie of the year and a second year all star but wanted Weisman. Melo is literally any team’s future franchise player and one of the next faces of the league — basically what Zion was supposed to and never will be.

As far as a future star/face of the team I think GS feels comfortable with Kuminga
Nah, Gil has been clear about his take the entire time....he's just talking sh*t now, needling folks (like me ) who have advocated for the kid the whole time. He wasn't against JW, just not as a Warrior.
But as @tremonthustler1 (and a bunch of others too) has said, there wasn't a good trade option on the table at the time AND Wiseman both fit a team need while being a potential athletic freak. It was a sensible pick that they would probably make again if in the same position...
This setback is unfortunate. If he can get healthy, I think he could be great. Sohh far however, he hasn't been able to stay (get) on the court to show it.
I ain't madatcha @Gil Scott-Heroin .
