I don't think there's any Warrior fan that's being serious that thinks taking him over LaMelo is still the better decision. I'm fine with the rationale that they needed a real mover at center (and they've failed to address that issue consistently).

To continuously miss on that Draymond understudy is something else though. I thought they had one with Paschal

these bozos failed to draft the rookie of the year and a second year all star but wanted Weisman. Melo is literally any team’s future franchise player and one of the next faces of the league — basically what Zion was supposed to and never will be.

What has he shown to be compared to embiid besides frailty
Who’s comparing him? I just said Embid played a total of 78 games in his first 3 years.. Wasn’t Embid a #1 pick? Weisman a #2 that’s the comparison

Now fukk off with that bullshyt you talking about being delusional.. sucka ass nikka

Joel Embiid at least showed potentially during those years when he was out there on the floor, while Wiseman looked completely lost and overwhelmed. In hindsight, that extra in Memphis would have worked wonders for his development considering all the time he's missed thus far.

All I’m saying it being that he’s a top 2 pick give him the 3 years… This is year 2.. He got one more year and it’s curtains

Wiseman has lost a lot of development time early in his career. Got booted from Memphis for something that would probably be OK now so he lost most of his college season. COVID hit so he didn't get a training camp for year one in the NBA. Then he tore his meniscus and wiped out another training camp and most of year two.

I hope he's a late bloomer because his size on the court stood out when he did get to play for GS.

I’m not even talking hindsight, that’s obvious. The logic in the way they went honestly made sense to me, shyt just didn’t work out

the idea of Weisman fit everything they coulda wanted out of a center. Again, just whiffed

He really needs an extended stay in the G-League for a bit, but unfortunately GS timeline isn't going to allow that to happen.
