Name a contender that has rookies playing major minutes… Kuminga and Moody are getting groomed in the g league and their progress is visible every time they play.
These nikkas get away with this type of hate because so many people don’t actually follow the Warriors.

That's the entire point.

Warriors shouldn't have THREE spots on the roster designated to rookies/projects when they're trying to contend, especially when they've got glaring holes already and a number of players who're being managed due to injuries.

As you already know, rotations get condensed in the playoffs. The 10th, 11th and 12th players on the roster don’t get minutes in the playoffs regardless. Why not use those slots on high ceiling lottery picks?

So what happens if the Warriors win the chip this year? All of your grievances are predicated on assuming the Warriors 100% won’t win the chip. Even if they get to the finals and lose, these young players will be even better next year.

And let’s be real @Dr. Narcisse wasn’t being nuanced when he name dropped Moody and Kuminga. He was grouping them into the running joke y’all have that Wiseman is a bust.

But you see, they're still going to be without a versatile 5 who can protect the rim and/or another offensive centerpiece, no matter what their rotation will be in the playoffs. That's a spot Wiseman is taking up that could've be used on another player who can legitimately help in the postseason. It's made worse by the fact that Iggy, Otto and GPII are all affected by injuries that need to be managed. If one of them goes down in the playoffs, who's gonna step up in their place?

It'll take a miracle for them to win a title, as currently constructed. If they get to the Finals and lose, it'll be even more of a wasted opportunity because they would've been that close, yet didn't have quite the right personnel to win. Next season isn't promised, as all of Steph, Dray and Klay will be another year older. This isn't 2015, where they're young enough to just run it back the following season.

You can't just keep speaking about "next year" as if the window of this core isn't ready to close.

He played 3 college games draft players who only played 3 college games instead of Lamelo bruhs:russ:

Watch Wiseman and Lamelo in individual workouts and still take Wiseman brehs:mjlol:

Are Golden State fans still trying to convince themselves it was a good decision to not draft Melo :mjlol:

LaMelo, Steph and Klay would've been another dynasty in the making. You would've still got another 3-4 years out of Steph/Klay and by the time they left Melo would've been hitting the start of his prime and they could've added more guys.

Dummies.

Kinda nuts that the controversy that wiped out his college season probably allowed him to be drafted that high. Feel like he would've definitely got injured and his medicals woulda pushed him down a few picks.

Warriors organization want to have players that can help Steph Klay and Draymond eventually age gracefully
When Steph is 36 conceivably these guys will be taught trained and prepared to help make it even easier for him as he gets older aka the spurs

Yeah in hindsight it was an awful awful move. Like you have to clean house with all scouts after that one.

Every now and then I think about how nasty Melo would have been on this team. It wouldn’t have been Durant Warriors level but it would have been serious.
