I read a lot of poems from the person in my avi (Anne Sexton) her stuff is all about depression. She was bi-polar, but sadly..she didn't make it. I also read the killing joke, just because I love how fukked up the joker is. It calms me down for the most part.

Reading/music/cooking are the only things that can (sometimes) quiet my mind.

You should use the Mayo Clinic website if you don't already. They have a great user friendly database of medical info that can be trusted unlike the majority of the internet which is fugazi

yep thats the worse thing I think is feeling all these things but there is nothing out there that will fix it, no surgery that can fix it, all they can do is schedule you to see a shrink or dope you up on meds and no thanks

Just learn to take charge, dude. Develop an enterprising attitude and problem-solve on some math shyt if you've got to. Being emotional about it won't help at all, you'll just keep getting the runaround cause no one really can help you but you..

I'm scared as fukk of dying

why?

everyone dies, I just ponder sometimes whether a unsuspecting heart attack will get me, or will i be ravaged from cancer and die slowly over time

I have no kids no wife, so option number 1 in my 50's early 60s please, if i don't die in a car crash first

Breh get help now while you can do it on your own terms.

You don't want to wind up in the psych ward at 2 in the morning and your sneakers are getting confiscated because by then no one cares what you have to say anymore and they will medicate you however they see fit. You better hope you have some strong relationships to family/friends because they're are gonna be the ones that need to fight to get you released because convicted felons have more rights than someone going through some mental shyt.

Not to go overboard but I'm speaking from experience. Log off the coli and confide in a loved one. Get the ball rolling on some type of treatment before stuff snowballs.

This right here. I've had to be committed a few times and trust me, some of the places can screw you up even worst. Definitely find someone to talk to whether its a friend or family member. Even if they don't understand right away, just opening up to someone about how you feel can go a long way. And don't allow yourself to be committed unless its a last resort and if you can help it don't let them send you to a state/county facility.

:ohhh: Gonna have to seek some help.:ohhh: :to: No jokes in this thread please:stopitslime:

I deal with those two things and you definitely need help. Try therapy, don't go the meds route unless you desperately need them. I should be taking them but I don't trust the side effects.
