It's like they don't remember that there was an era when only man defense was legal.

It's like they don't remember there was an era when players didn't know how to switch and defenses didn't even scheme against particular players.

It's like they don't remember there was an era when no one played defense until the playoffs.

It's like they don't remember there was an era when big men couldn't shoot and no one was ever going to pull your big fat star out to the 3pt-line or run multiple picks on him to forces switches and screw up matchups.

It's like they don't remember there was an era when most of the teams were absolute trash and most of the stars ganged up on a few select teams.

The game has changed. There's a hell of a lot more talent, a hell of a lot more options, and players/coaches know a hell of a lot more about basketball than they ever did before. Those fools just can't handle that their one-on-one, stick-the-stars on three teams league doesn't look as lopsided anymore.

I like Cuz, but his horrible turnover rate and inconsistent focus defensively keeps him from being better than AD who's just the more reliable player at this point in their careers. Maybe that changes under Karl and he finally puts it all together, we'll see.

All you have to do is see his scoring efficiency and turnover numbers to realize he's not a star by any stretch.

For all of this talk about him being the MVP this year and how he's surpassed LeBron as the best player in the league, if a LeBron-led squad started off like this... ... it'd be the talk of this site all day. Anthony Davis (and Stephen Curry) are lucky that they get to be crowned the best players while not being held to the same scrutiny/standards.
