Brehs, are we ever going to have a SERIOUS discussion about the PHOENIX SUNS and Kevin Durant?

When is Devin Booker gonna get some smoke?

KD is at the end of his career. Booker is in his prime and doesn't elevate anyone bit nobody talks about him cuz it's easy and convenient to criticize KD

Been saying this about Devin Booker for 3 years now. He can put up nice numbers but it's not impactful.

I want KD on the Knicks or Mavs. Is it doable?
No and no.

Best place for either KD or Booker to go is Houston. Houston gets their go-to scorer in crunch time, Suns get draft capital and young players to rebuild with(Whitmore? Sheppard? Smith?)

If Houston got one of those guys with keeping the majority of their team intact they are not that far off from true title contention

Didn't the Knickerbockers and their fans say Julius Randle was a better investment than KD?
Fụck no. If you can find any quote from me stating any type of Fandom for Randle, I'll pay you in coli bucks. 🤮

Also, we don't have picks and Hart/Brunson is not trading Mikal, some imaginary future pick, Shamet, Cam, Duece and bench players for KD.

doable with some work but would either of those teams be able to give phoenix the best deal. just spitballing but maybe theres a scenario where the knicks crash out in the playoffs and they say give us durant for kat. mavs would have to get more creative, but if the suns are trying to lower their cap number there are teams better positioned to absorb durant's salary like the grizzlies.

I don't think any team is or should give up an under 30 star level player for Durant at this point. He'll be 37 when next season starts. The Butler trade is a good framework for what a trade would look like.

I've always measured the best NBA players on impact, not stats.
This is why philosophy is the main way to judge a player. Does their approach and outlook on how to play basketball translate to winning at the highest level? So far KD's does not. :hubie:
