You’re looking at the names and thinking it should work instead of the talent and roster construction. The Phoenix Suns have less overall talent than probably 10 different rosters in the West. How much was Curry leading the Warriors when they tanked without KD? How much was he leading them these last few years or when they lost in the playoffs to a young Ja Morant? Is he suddenly leading them better post all star break or did he get JIMMY BUTLER and now everyone is in their natural role.

The Suns have three different guys on their team who prefer to operate out of the mid range without a legit defensive playmaker next to them and without athletic wings or a rim protector. You’re losing because you can’t defend anything and the guys on your team who can defend (Dunn) can’t space the floor. The Suns inserted Beal into the starting line up and then their bench scored like 8 points. Your team isn’t good b.

Your downfall was the Ayton trade - you’ve never found a suitable replacement and Beal’s NTC cost you Jimmy. Booker is a scorer and secondary playmaker who is being forced to be a primary playmaker and to defend the opposing team’s best guard half the time. It’s untenable.

yes, i do believe that there are intangibles. of course we need a real PG skillwise, but we are sorely missing the other things CP3 brought to the table that are hard to quantify.

Booker and Beal are not superstars, not in terms of popularity or on court play. secondly they tried to shop Beal and KD . The fuuck they want to win a ring for that org for?
